Think Owen Coyle could be your man. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport/sport-headlines/neil-lennon-attacked-by-geese-201105133813
The lack of announcement from Celtic makes me think a new managers could be announced in the next 24 hours. McKay and Moyes have already been spoken too this week( lennon told the board last week he was off)
Something doesn't add up here! I think Sammy saying Lennon wanted him to stay undermined him as the manager.
Why didn't he leave earlier? There was **** all to play for in the last few months. We could have had someone in place by now.
Mackay, Clarke and Lambert are all good shouts. Moyes could be a goer. Lots to prove, no compensation to pay and he's loaded with his own payoff, s owe can pay him feckall. Last year it wouldn't happen, but he's still young and will want a job. He's not the kind of guy who will move to the continent and any English club available to him will be a massive step down. Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea are no-goers. Newcastle say they are keeping Pardew. Spurs is a no go, so who does that leave? Nobody better than plodding around mid-table at best and looking over your shoulder at relegation. He's done that already. Celtic gets him out of the EPL and into Europe. Makes sense to me. Please, not Henke.
That is a good point, when are our first qualifiers - first week in July ? Six weeks away or so. Artmedia Bratislava anyone ?
Ive just had a revolutionary idea. A manager who has never played for Celtic before or been part of the Celtic Family. Could it catch on ?
"before I knew it I was raining blows on his unconscious face, while my 2 kids cheered me on...there is just something about his face". So very true.
It's not just that they need to be Celtic Minded for the sake of it - I mean none of us would mind Jose Mourinho taking charge - it's just that if you are actually a good manager you'd need to be Celtic Minded to be mental enough to take the Celtic job.
