Remy would be a really good addition - as good as Sturridge is we simply won't get more than 2/3 of a season out of him, he is injury prone and we need a top back up/rotating option. I rate Borini and think he will have a part to play next year but not as Sturridge's replacement when he is out.
my personnel opinion is i think its just we need better options from the bench, not much wrong with the first team apart from some of them need rest now and again, not have to hope they can play all the games injury free as our bench was ****e, well that is an understatement. we need options, and last season we didn't have that, which is why towards the end they probably ran out of steam. we need decent enough backups to keep the first team as fresh as poss, or better still a few decent first team players then the ones they replace make our bench stronger. defending is the main issue for me, attacking its having options on the bench we didn't have, ie Aspas and ****ing Moses, defence is a bigger issue, dont know were to start, is it confidence, tactics, players not good enough to play the style?
Remy? Meh.... If wot come up that will be complicated but I am not sure he'd ideal especially on the bench Bony is patently made up rumour All in all.... I expect nothing before August of real note, everyone is in World Cup now
big risk to take though as values can go up. or worst still we could end up with more crap because they had a good tournament. ie Diouf,Diou etc.
Firmino, Kono and Lars Bender aren't in their respective squads - should definitely be targeting them.
And when targeting the bigger players - deals will drag out because the selling clubs know they have an asset which is in demand.
Obviously, I was being a picky batard following your comment. Ie, its not about the first eleven, its a squad game
