Hi Everyone I am new to not 606 , always have read the posts and enjoy the info flow from you all. I live and work in Thailand , and was looking forward to seeing the R's in the play off final on Saturday , until today's Coup d'état , when all local and international TV channels have been taken off the air and been replaced with a military slogan and music. Having supported QPR for 40 years I really hope that the biggest day in Rangers recent history is not lost for my viewing. At the moment the only consolation is the internet is not yet blocked. Well here's to a peaceful end to the Thai difficulties and wishing everyone. Fantastic day on Saturday at Wembley and a Rangers win.
That's bad luck Tony, hope you're alright over there! There'll definitely be plenty of streams if your connection holds out
I wish you and everyone in Thailand all the very beet. I also hope you get to see the match. Very best wishes.
Welcome, Tony. Hope all goes well with you over there, and you're able to watch the match. Thailand's a great country and its people deserve stable government
Welcome Tony! Where are you in Thailand? I'm in Phuket at the moment and the worse that happened to us was getting no dinner as we didn't know about the 10pm curfew until too late! I fly back Saturday, or plan to, and will have to make do with a recording of the game anyway.
That's a bit of a bummer, you think they could have waited till Sunday! But seriously, that really is bad news. Hope things return to normal quickly and you get to see the game. All the best...
Thanks guys for all the good posts. Hi Oslo , I am in Bangkok , right in the heart of it . Hope your enjoying Phuket , wonderful place. Enjoy
My mate mark ( aka dummy ) is stuck in Bangkok now, been there working for 8 years! He's fuming that he might miss the game! He's been a hoop for nigh on 30 years so hope all gets sorted..
As long as the Army do not shut down the Internet, you should be able to see the whole game live here.... http://www.feed2all.eu/type/football.html
For a 3-4 week holiday, it is great and mostly bearable, especially as you have aircon in the hotel that you can use 24/7 for free. However, running it all day and night in your house costs a small fortune. Electricity prices are on a par with the UK So, yes it is hot and there's not a lot you can do about it. The jury is well and truly out on this one mate. Just need to give him a chance I guess and hope for the best. In fairness, I am not sure the potential of the other candidates was much better. Anyone getting the job would have been a risk, so perhaps it's better getting the devil you know
Hello everyone , it's match day. It looks like an omen , the cable TV network was restored at 3pm local time today , that can only mean one thing QPR WIN , although now I am thinking I am going to be too nervous to watch it , but somehow I think I will . Have a GREAT day everyone , I will have a great night now
