Sanchez is an interesting one - I think he's simply not suited to Barca's style, slow, patient, technical. Sanchez is very direct and I Think he would be a good fit for us. Pedro is a very clever player and another one that I would love.

I hope the Lallana deal is a smokescreen and we get Kono and Shaqiri.

I know Kroos will be on mega wages but it would be funny if we ended up signing Lallana for more.

Just to get this off my chest - I appreciate there are a lot of rumours going round and nothing has been confirmed and no players have signed but I would be seriously p*ssed off if we ended up buying players like Lallana, Caulker, Vorm and Lovren. We finally get back into CL and this is the best list of targets? If these players are back up/squad players then fine - I'd be happy provided we don't overspend. But if these are the 'first teamers', then God help us.

 

Quite a few people have said to me that Lallana would be an excellent signing. Not in my opinion he isn't.

 

I like LLallallena. But for someone of his ability and experience I would expect them to be 22-23 at most. Isn't he 26? If we bought a 26 year old it would have to be an accomplished player who has played at the top level.

 

Exactly, he's not exactly "up and coming"
