Having 2 'home ends' provides a football advantage, as both halves the away side isn't attacking 'their end'. It's why the vast majority of PL clubs have done exactly what yours is doing. Put the away fans in an area where they can have the least impact.

The corner of the East stand is hardly the Yellow wall anyway ffs, and I'd imagine that those who want the banter with the away support will just move to the corner of the North stand.

Home fans in the North Stand
Away fans in the East Stand

It won't matter a jot - it's what happens on the pitch that determines the atmosphere

You are right, acoustics can help, but numbers chanting = more noise. I don't know why the club doesn't employ some "conductors" to stand in front of certain stands to orchestrate getting chants going. Most people will sing, they just need encouraging to get going.

It's not two home ends, away fans won't be in the area with least impact and the home supporters can't move to that corner of the north stand.

Could possibly have worked in the East stand, now they'll need two way radios.

I thought home fans in the north stand was a great idea as I have always like being behind the goal at footy ..

I was happy , dreaming of a packed North Stand full of Black and Amber .

Then I realise its NOT going to be that way and we're just getting part of the north stand

Away fans will now have part of the north stand and e1 e2 e3.

    Wtf !

Now I don't see the bloody point Iof this moving about lark .

Off to renew 3 passes today....in the North Stand.

Iv never sat in that Stand before so I am hoping I can get inside the stadium and have a look at the seats / rows etc so I can pick were I want..

Spending over £800 and not knowing the view from the seats is not on .

I thought this was a GOOD move.......

Now I don't see the point at all.

    Pissed off

    Totally echo that Filey.

We're being treated with the absolute minimum of respect. In fact it's disdain.

The thing that makes it more depressing for me, is that it's not even surprising.

Filey will be more annoyed when he's told its a building site, sorry no access to see the view. You pay your money and hope for the best.

Just to clarify - It's N6-7 and E1-3 that are away, any segregation will come out of those blocks, the rest is ours, so we do have most of the North(though no season tickets are being sold for N5, it's being sold as matchday tickets for those who want to stand/sing on a match by match basis).

    If I choose N4

How High do I need to be ( row ). To be ABOVE the goal.....

Without being right at the top

Don't want my view blocked by the goal net , post , bar

I accept they've had two trips to Wembley and the daft ballot to deal with, but this a unacceptable farce.

It should of been announced in January and then people would of had time to make arrangements.

You could be right, but E3 and N5 have also been described as segregation by the Club. N6 is the disabled area, so I can't see that being segregation.

It depends who, when and why you ask. The same individuals give out different answers.

You definitely can't have a pass in N5, they're going to be matchday tickets only.

I was thinking of moving from East stand to North to join in with those wanting to create an atmosphere even though I am a bit old and doddery to be stood up for 90 minutes.
However the more I read about this and think how useless the club are and their total disdain for the fans I am thinking of saying screw this altogether and saving £500 a year and a similar amount in travelling giving me £1,000 to spend with someone who cares about their customers.

I've no idea how far up you'll have to be, but the ticket office should be able to help you with that no problem.
