Wasn't DeCaprio in a film on TV recently where he was a junior partner in a law firm representing an old lady against a major firm and he ended up pulling a few tricks and won the case in her favour?

possibly, I think it was a case of being told something is very funny/scary and then it not living up to the hype...Plus they tried to convince me it was all based on real events...It's not, and Paramount (or whoever released it) got sued by the residents of the town they based it in!

What's the film that scared you the most? Mine has to be Amityville Horror. Watched it at about 2 a.m. one time when I was home alone for the first time. **** myself. Absolutely **** myself.

Hype definitely ruins films for me. Aye, they based it on real disappearances but faked the stories on CNN and made up all the names. I guess it would have worked if people didn't realise before watching though.

Errrrm, Jaws when I was little, watched it and then stood on the toilet seat while I was brushing my teeth 'cause I was convinced the shark was going to come up through the bathroom floor...As an adult, El Orphanato or The Orphanage is the only film to make me actually shout out loud....Watched it in the dark with my lass flatmate and we were ****ing cacking ourselves.

Genuinely a great film to watch!

i get **** scared easily so i've stayed away from all of the seriously scary ones. One of my friends though borrowed 'It' (about a ****ing scary clown) and was watching it at like 1 in the morning. after like an hour he decided it was too scary and got up to turn the light on. Blew the fuse and tripped the electricity circuit to the whole house and had to walk downstairs into his basement to reset it <laugh>

See that would have got me. I can take scary films, but sometimes I whip myself up into a hysteria. If I was getting a little bit scared and that happened, I'd refuse to do anything. I'd just sit there rocking back and forth with my arms over my knees

If you've ever seen it IT as a child, and then watch it again as an adult it is literally the most dissapointing thing in the world...It hasn't aged well at all! I think I'd be bricking it even if I'd been watching Shrek and the power went out - I'd got a brutal imagination and basements are terrible places!

And was the scary clown not waiting for him in the basement? That's the kind of thing that scary films revolve around.

Quite liked the team of Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, they made some clever comedies together.

Pineapple express is so under-rated in my opinion, never laughed so much at a film!!!!

In terms of t.v series has to be scrubs, office and inbetweeners!!

The obvious Will Ferrel ones (Sir Bobby has pointed out one of them) but aside from that Hot Rod is very bizarre but very funny, made by Lonely Island (the same lads who did 'I'm on a boat' and 'like a boss'!)

The Office or Extras? Both are genius!

Also, if anyone has been watching Angry Boys, I've been really disappointed with it...The lad who makes them Chris Lilly did Summer Heights High, and I don't think I've ever laughed more at a TV program! I must have seen some of the scenes 100 times over and still find them hilarious!

    WATCH IT!!!

I agree pretty much every Will Ferrell film is hilarious. He's an incredible actor (I know he only really acts one part, but he's amazing at it). I didn't like Hot Rod though. Didn't find it funny or just a decent film. Bit boring

I showed Hot Rod to a couple of girls I live next to...They literally sat there straight faced for the first 15 minutes before they asked if we could turn it off....On the other hand, me and my mates fell about laughing at it. I guess its just how random your sense of humour is?

And on that note, I bid you adieu. 'Twas a fine eve, but 'morrow comes quick and fleeting, and simply put, I need some ****ing sleep. Night, gents.
