BBC - Liverpool make bid for Lallana

I certainly don't believe that Lallana should be worth more than £20m to anyone else. He's not that young. To us he's worth more than that, but that's due to him having qualities that can't be bought. Liverpool would be silly to increase their bid any more.

 

Liverpool paid over 60 million for Carroll, Downing and Henderson. You should demand 40 million

 

Just turned 26, broken into the national team, captain 4 yr contract 25% sell on......just how is he not worth FAR more than 20 million? This is football, not the stock exchange.

I agree with Joe. Look at it from Liverpool's point of view - he's only had 1 really good season in the PL and he's not a young player. They don't care about the 25% sell on clause, that's our problem.

Well yes, that's the point, there is a disparity and there has to be unless they're stupid. If I were a Liverpool fan I would not want to pay any more than £20m for Lallana, but as a Saints fan I feel he's worth more than that to us.

 

I don't think we should sell for less than 40 million...oh dear, what a shame, we have priced him out of the market
