For me it's not the lack of open information from the club, it's just the way Lallana himself has been so hesitant when speaking on the matter. If it's like his mate says and it's not even a question of him leaving then I don't see why he can't just put that out there, unless his agent or he himself is trying to wangle a pay rise but I don't see him going about it that way. It's only either that or he really fears Poch going and would follow him out the door if he did, otherwise I just don't understand his non-committal if he really is 'Saints through and through'.

I'm probably at about 15-20%, but I'm a pessimist to the core.

This article claims that Liverpool want to get Lallana before the world cup, but are happy to sign Lovren after the world cup.

Well it's been reported that the move has stalled due to our valuation of Lallana.

 

Lovren has said publicly that he wants to stay unless the club want to sell him.

 

The Lovren one is a non starter in my opinion. The Sun are saying LFC are putting in an 8M bid. Isn't that about what we paid for him? not in a million years would we sell a player with 3 years left on his contract for what we paid for, after being one of the best defenders in Europe last season.

Still, as far as today's press goes it seems to be quite quiet (other than the odd bit about the Cortese interview).

 

Interesting change in the media this morning with Lallana's move looking to have hit the rocks (woohoo!) due to his valuation
Liverpool's bid of £8m for Lovren is laughable if true. Not for sale full stop as he is as valuable to the team as Lallana as proven when he was out injured

If the offer mentioned was correct, it was ridiculous. Twenty mill for a young England international with four years on a contract that we are desperate to keep...never mind the 25% sell on clause. Katharina wouldn't even look up from her phone for less than 30 mill.

 

Liverpool fans saying they are in talks with Lallana but are refusing to meet our asking price. Surely that's illegal?
