i rung up 3 of the pubs and all upping prices on saturday

Cheapest pint in the Torch is £2.99 but was advised £4.50 on sat and had same result from two other pubs, meanwhile Derby have all the spoon pubs at good prices. Thanks to the met police!! I advise qpr fans to give these official wembley pubs the tic tac personally.

What the feck did you buy? Mind you, I guess we're not that much cheaper, it's $7 here for American crafts, $8 for a few Belgians.

My apologies. Welcome to the board Neil, we always welcome fresh and new opinions on here. I agree with your stance regarding the Wembley pubs, we are all aiming to meet up in Hennessys in Kingsbury. (See this thread..........http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...al-Tickets-Travel-Plans-and-Pubs-for-Meet-Ups)

They are catering for a few hundred of us with no price increases and a free buffet. The potential tube strike might put a dampner on things for many on here though. What is it about following the R's that seems to find a way for us to not fully enjoy our rare days in the sun?

Pubs here will happily charge 12 euros a pint...the worst I have had was 16 euros a pint. The UK does do beer cheaply, but upping the price for match days is wrong, well done for posting, and lets hope these pubs find themselves empty come match day.

standard price in Aus is $9+ for a pint... would seem normal (unfortunately). They did put the prices up to $12 when the Lions supporters were in town....
