Should we not go up, I'd consider offering him a pay as you play contract for one more season. He made the difference in the play-off semi final second leg, and looked very lively against Forest.
I would say no. He is just too injury prone. For two seasons now we have relied on him and AJ and it has only got us in trouble. We really need to get some younger up and coming forwards.
Agree with that, I guess he is the type of player where a pay as you play contract is massively beneficial for the club, but not so great for the player, but would like to still see him around IF we don't go up. If we do go up, afraid I wouldn't see him playing a role in the top flight, and we would be able to attract better options.
