I don't doubt it fella but I keep going back to the fallouts after skyrim, been doing this for years, need to break the cycle and get it.
I never liked Oblivion just couldn't get into it, think killing a dremora at level 2 spoilt it for me. Morrowind GOTY was the best, then Skyrim even though I still havnt got anywhere near the end of skyrim, keep putting it down and creating a new character.
Never finished skyrim myself. My PS3 has died every attempt so always lost the data. I'm a level 56 imperial at the moment and the furthest I've been.
I loved sensible soccer on the Atari ST though used to pick Denmark as they had Schmeichal and the Laudrups who were awesome on it (and Brondby were pretty canny too). I loved Champ Man, then Football Manager though am a twat and can never go for more than 1 or 2 seasons before the temptation to just replay a game or get someone to buy my crap players gets too much. Got Skyrim but not played for a little while, only got to Whiterun. Will return to it this summer though. Fallout 1 and 2 were awesome, though not played them in ages.
Personally prefer the oblivion storyline to skyrim but it does get silly with gates opening everywhere. Never played Morrorwind but would like to if I can find the time.
Bethesda Softworks supposedly (rumours) be announcing Fallout 4 for all platforms later this year mate, due out 2015, leaked the other day, one of their top boys tweeted a pic of a pip-boy and pulled it seconds later apparently. As for Skyrim's successor, I'd not expect a follow-up to that for atleast another 5 years now. The Witcher 3 is due for release and it's supposed to be 4 times the size of Skyrim, Bethesda will need years to bother competing on that level. Add to that Kingdom Come - Deliverance and there's gonna be little demand for the next ES title for a few years anyhow. I miss playing on Skyrim though, it was the bollocks, apart from them benders who sang in the pubs.
Nintendo World Cup! That's a mad footy game, on the NES. Think there was an ice pitch you could play on as well. All the players looked like proper angry bastards.
Oblivion is what happens to your social life when playing that game! Great game though but my brother borrowed it so never got to the end. If it ever had one? Playing a bit of skyrim now which looks bigger and better so far.
As for footy games Sensible Soccer was the best unfortunately I never owned it so had to play it at my cousins who played it 24/7 so they thrashed me everytime! Anyone remember Emlyn Hughes football manager on the zx48k? I think this was one if the first games where you could personalize the players names. Spent ages changing the names to legends like Tony Norman and John Kay.
Sunderland premier manager, p c game. Sensible soccer loved that game, subbuteo, bar football down roker arcade in the 1970's !. i had untill recently the original tennis t v game( remember the paddles/knobs to bat the ball) and jumpers for goal posts! i dont know how many windows we nearly put out in the 1970's.
Microsoft said when they release the XB1 that they'll service all franchise games like Fifa and CoD on both the 360 and XB1 until 2017 at the earliest. If it's being made for the 360 it'll be released on ps3 for sure. Whatever you do don't get rid of your ps3, I hate the next gen stuff it's all crap so far, hopefully watch dogs will be good.
Won't get rid of the PS3 just yet fella. Like I said I haven't played Oblivion yet. Still so many games I've yet to play starting from a couple of quid to buy. I'd be daft. I might get round to playing more if I leave Skyrim alone but even then I'm barely playing that at the moment. I'm either on here, cooking or cleaning or working on my cartoon out on the patio in the sun.
Elaborate mate... I must admit the console is much better for the winter months for me too, been roasting down here this past week, always feel guilty sitting indoors when it's sunny, considering I spend the rest of the year moaning about the weather.
I do play on the ps3, but PC is just so much better for games like Skyrim and Fallout, the modding community bring so much more to the games. And if Fallout 4 is real I very much doubt it will be for the 360 and PS3, will be XB1, PS4 and PC, if they release games for the old consoles they just won't be jaw dropping on the new ones, and no one would buy the new ones either.
The fact is though mate, the market is much bigger on previous gen consoles still. If it's coming out in the next 18-24 months there's no doubt it'll be made for previous gen. The big developers will make it happen, the likes of Crytek are developing single code to work on all platforms and make it work properly so franchise games like Fifa can be upscaled/downscaled as per the hardware. As for mods, I've watched a few on YouTube but I can't get my head round them, I'm not a PC gamer at all, although I appreciate the top gaming PC's wipe the floor with the consoles graphically, I couldn't justify the mortgage required or the dork-hours needed to understand what the **** I was doing!
Would be a favourite of mine but I always end up arguing with whoever I'm playing cos they think it's acceptable to SPIN the ****ing handles. Spinning is not allowed, FFS!
