Every vote has not been counted so here's the final table: Davies 55 Livermore 27 Huddlestone 25 McGregor, Elmohammady 16 Rosenior 15 Boyd 14 Sagbo 13 Fryatt 12 Long, Aluko, Quinn 11 Meyler, Bruce 10 Brady 8 McShane, Jelavic, Koren 6 Chester 5.5 Faye, Harper 4 Figueroa 3 Jakupovic 1 Graham, Dudegon, Henderson, Jahldro-Martin, Proschwitz, McLean, Gedo 0 Player of the Month: August: Davies/Brady September: Aluko October: Davies November: Livermore December: McGregor January: McGregor February: Davies March: Davies April: Huddlestone/Livermore May: Fryatt Thanks for voting!!
He was never likely to get many votes, he's a youth player who's played a total of thirty minutes over two sub appearances in cup games.
He was injured for good parts of the season and had Davies to contend with, so him not having many points isn't much of a surprise when you think about it.
As someone who looks in on this forum a fair bit I'm surprised to see Bruce, Chester and Meyler so low down and Sagbo, Aluko and Elmohamady so high.
He's been consistently good. He played in 29 games. Which is more than Bruce (25), Aluko (22), Brady (18), Jelavic (16), McShane (15), Long (15). So yeah, I'd say it was a surprise.
I think Meyler and Elmo deserve to be higher, Chester is down there through injury even though he's been excellent when playing, the rest is about right.
Quinn is surprisingly high given he's hardly played, but then he is ****ing ace. Chester criminally under-rated.
Chester got one 2nd place, three 3rd and a joint 3rd to make up his points; if you compare that to say Brady who got two 1sts and a 2nd then Chester has picked up points in more games but never got quite enough. I think Chester came 4th quite a lot in the match votes too.
Was going to build on the points table by adding appearances incl amount of times subbed on/off but not really possible on the ipad as when I go to the stats site the browser forgets this page and everything I've written. But decided to look at some stats around various different websites, and I was amused to find Michael Turner on our leading assists table for setting up Robbie Brady http://www.statbunker.com/competitions/ClubMostAssists?comp_id=449&club_id=752
Here's the table with appearances, those tied on points are split into position placed by virtue of games played. Edit: added in points per appearance Name - Apps - Points - PPA Davies - 43 - 55 - 1.28 Livermore - 41 - 27 - 0.66 Huddlestone - 40 - 25 - 0.63 McGregor - 29 - 16 - 0.55 Elmohammady - 45 - 16 - 0.36 Rosenior - 37 - 15 - 0.41 Boyd - 39 - 14 - 0.36 Sagbo - 34 - 13 - 0.38 Fryatt - 18 - 12 - 0.67 Long - 15 - 11 - 0.73 Aluko - 22 - 11 - 0.50 Quinn - 24 - 11 - 0.46 Bruce - 25 - 10 - 0.40 Meyler - 40 - 10 - 0.25 Brady - 18 - 8 - 0.44 McShane - 15 - 6 - 0.40 Jelavic - 16 - 6 - 0.38 Koren - 26 - 6 - 0.23 Chester - 29 - 5.5 - 0.19 Faye - 7 - 4 - 0.57 Harper - 19 - 4 - 0.21 Figueroa - 38 - 3 - 0.08 Jakupovic - 2 - 1 - 0.50 So Davies, Long and Fryatt are our top 3 decided on points per game. Koren, Chester and Figueroa our bottom 3 under the same criteria.
Thanks for putting those stats together DH. Not many surprises. Davies rightfully winner by a mile. I'd put Sagbo a lot lower, Chessie a lot higher, and move Meyler up. Otherwise looks about right.
