On sky sports paper talk the mirror (not the best tag) has repeate that we are chasing Albrighton but has also said we are after Upson from Brighton. I think this is a new rumour but if it has been mentioned I apologise. My initial thought were past it no way but on the other hand he's experienced at the highest level. Thoughts?
Billy Jones rumours spreading ... http://www.clubcall.com/west-bromwich-albion/jones-attracting-rivals-interest-1725977.html
Positive points for Upson are that he has experience for England and in the prem but he must have dropped down to the championship for a reason
I was thinking earlier I wouldn't be surprised if he's the sort of player we go after. Been voted Brighton's player of the season, if I remember correctly. I probably wouldn't want him as first choice, but you can't deny his experience.

Leicester are also poised to bid for Sheffield United's teenage striker Diego de Girolamo. The 18-year-old is an Italy Under 19 international but was born in Chesterfield.
Explain how the infrastructure of their club is better then ours We have the same stadium as them, same size fanbase We have one of the best training grounds in the country, we have a category 1 academy system. Both very well financially backed As i said were about on par as clubs. On the pitch they are ahead of us but that could change in the summer as its possible they will lose Lallana, Lovren, Shaw and maybe even the manager
I go to uni in Sheffield and watch Utd regularly as well as having many mates and my girlfriend who are Blades fans. They all struggled to understand why Diego doesn't get in their first team as he is seen as a great prospect. The belief is that he doesn't have the best attitude and has fallen out of favour with Clough. If so would he be Nigel's kind of player? By all accounts got great ability though if he can reach his potential
Both clubs have about the same potential, they've just realised theirs already, whereas you haven't yet. With regard to the respective abilities to attract players(which is what your response was to), they are currently streets ahead. I'm sure Nige will pick up some decent signings regardless.
Looks like we have lost out on Luciano Vietto... http://talksport.com/football/valen...-striker-blow-premier-league-trio-14052192199

Percys saying these are almost done deals too. Shame about Vet, but it was a long shot to begin with.
Being linked with a £2mill move for centre back Craig Dawson of West Brom. He played quite a lot for the u21's a couple of years ago and scores a fair few for a defender. He's at a young age and has premier league experience. Thoughts?
