Looks like there's a price hike coming later this week...

Agreed the demand should be high but it isn't or we'd sell out against the small teams, not just Liverpool and Man U. Sadly there isn't as much passion for football here as in some other similar-sized cities. It's not something that can't be fixed though, with a bit of effort put into marketing.

Agreed. It really ain't broke is it?

I'm not sure I understand the pricing structure. Until now West was always the most expensive, followed by East and then South. That made sense as South was full of kids, East was meant to be your average bloke and West is older people and more corporates. That's not me stereotyping by the way that was paraphrasing some communication from the club in the last couple of years or so. I don't know what away fans in the North were paying but I'd imagine it was equivalent to either our East or South stand matchday prices.

With the change the North is going to be more expensive than both East and South. How is that going to persuade people to move, and how can it be justified? Surely it should be the same as one of those two?

I can't work you out, I know that CTWD want the best for the club, but as for you i realy don't understand. Do you support city or just come here to WUM.

As for Mr allam, clever nah, vindictive more likley.

Away fans were paying south stand (cheapest) prices as their price cannot be more expensive than their equivalent stand in the home end by league rules.

Probably another reason for moving them.

I simply pointed out that using the hotel at Norwich as a way of bringing in £500,000 was wrong, Obi accepted that it was.

The same arguments could be used Fez to counter any and every hotel development.

East and North Stands are cheaper than the West and dearer than the South just as before.

Well thats buggered it up for me. £500 plus is beyond my financial capability at the moment, so i guess i will be picking and choosing my games next season. At least i got to see them in a Cup final and will hopefully get to watch them in Europe.

He doesn't support Hull City. He just obeys the Allams, it's all he knows, having no control over his own life and all...

Yet home fans evicted to the north stand have to pay more than the equivalent south stand. Another nice touch.

Well there is one incentive, you can stand with the away fans or move.

The whole point of the South Stand is that it is FAMILY FRIENDLY. The club has made efforts in the last few years to make the KC work for fans. I will pay £74 more to watch the same game, I moved away from the South Stand. I have a great view from my seat and it is my choice. The east and north stands are the same price. I just don't what there is to complain about.

We south standers actually get more for our money.

Lots of free lollipops at half time for example.

What I meant was, there a concerted effort by the club to get more vocal fans into the North Stand, these are generally younger fans and I think it would have been sensible to make this the cheapest stand, particularly as I believe that longer term, this stand will be made safe standing and will become the cheapest stand anyway.

I take your point and fully agree with it. Younger fans need to be encouraged. I would love to see some support for the peaceful Ultra movement in the North Stand. Could we find out for instance what happened to the City flag from the FA Cup. If they cannot make it cheap, give the North Stand something extra.

The original plan to move the Ulltras to the North Stand, also involved more lax rules and a place to store flags etc, but I've no idea if that will change now, it was Nick Thompson that was driving it all.

The ulltras should become a proper supporters group n get more people involved. They could get a great atmosphere going n have a big meet before the game. Members fee's could go towards flags etc Slightly stepping on CTWD toes but there's no need for them anymore.

CTWD will become a supporters trust and the Ulltras are members already.

My mistake, I thought the North had been made more expensive than the East. Don't know where I got that from.

Of course it was, but I would have faced the same choice last season. Be in the family section or move. The same group can move on mass to the North Stand. It will provide everything that the East standers have asked for. If there was no move the price would have risen by exactly the same amount. I simply fail to see what the problem really is. Take away the price increase and its a win win for the East Stand.
