So, not even out of May and already I'm totally fed up with all the gossip. And, lets face it, it is only gossip at this stage. But all this, "done deal" stuff nevertheless makes depressing reading.

Now, I know the old cliche about not wanting players who don't want to play for you but Suarez didn't do too badly this year after wanting away last summer.

So, that said, I really don't understand why the board can't simply say that all the guys being speculated about are under contract and aren't going anywhere. Its not as if they are even in the last year of their contracts which would change things.

Therefore, pay everyone a bit if they want to but just keep them here for one more year. How difficult can it be?

I'm going to cling onto this as I am currently about 1% from resignation that Saints will lose Shaw, Lallana and then some.

He does seem very confident in all that he is saying. Could be on false ground, or maybe he knows alot more then most (including journalists) from Adam...

I'm actually quite surprised DTLW is as low as 8% and that's only on a deal. I'm up around 80-85% [90-95% on a good day] and that's only because I have to wade through so many wrist slitting statements where posters imagine scenarios without our best players when they're still ours with no actual evidence of leaving.

Of course, we could all be 100% if we were properly kept informed, but I know that just isn't possible. Who said this iteration of SFC was going to be more open..? As usual, they only tell you something when there is something to tell. Would be nice to have some news about Doddsy and Williams from the OS though, even if it is to say that they can't tell us anything due to contractual obligations. I don't like to see news outlets getting the announcements out first.

 

It's really surprised me how emotionally attached to Lallana I feel. I've never felt this way about a footballer before. I'm only young can one of the older posters tell me, is this love?
