Cheers mate, it's good to be back in the UK, we have our friends & family close by and I get to every game I can get tickets for.
The south of France is a big miss but we had many happy years there and it was time to come back.
I love the UK and we've set up a small transport business so we can pick & choose where to visit. We take deliveries to wherever we're playing but also places we fancy. We were in Devon, last week, and we're off to Northumberland soon.

Let me know when you're up and we'll have a pint.

The Hull fans set themselves up for a massive fall when they were crowing about our relegation and now can't handle it.

Instead of just admitting they were wrong they'll keep wriggling & hair-splitting as they always do.
They're in danger of taking the 'Delusion Crown' from the Mags.

Not surprising when they have the fat idiot as manager, his latest flight of fantasy today in the Star is,

"Steve Bruce has warned Allam he needs to make big investments on the playing side to match the club's success this season."

Success, did I miss something ......... unless Hull play in a parallel universe I thought they'd finished just above the relegation zone and got to the final by beating a 3rd division side.

Is not staying up in the premier league & getting to the cup final, only losing in extra time to a side in the champions league, not being successful for a club of our size?

Taking into consideration we were promoted last season, told we were off back down after a year & a few years before in a shocking financial state.

You talk as much pish as anyone.

If you like ....... success is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.

Perhaps, as a Hull supporter, you can explain what Bruce means in that case.

He says, " ......... he needs to make big investments on the playing side to match the club's success this season."

Why would Bruce need to make big investments just to match what the current players managed?

Doesn't seem to make sense if you see this season as successful.

In fact, when the injury situation improves you'll be better off, you'll have Long & Jelavic available for the whole season including the cups.

Every club will be looking to improve their squads.

Why not improve the squad & try go that one step further.

I'm sure you lot loved the League Cup run & wished you'd soon be back in another final, but go that one step further. As we both got beat, in the two finals, by that extra bit of quality on the day. That's why Poyet, i'm sure, will be bringing in new players as well.

We've got to take Europe (for how long, i don't know), the league, teh odd cup match, injuries & suspensions into account.

Bruce is hardly putting a downer on his players.

    I didn't say he was.

I just don't understand why Hull need BIG investment just to stay the same.

Just learnt that Hull have put their season cards up 30%! The cheapest Adult Season Card is £501 <yikes>

I'd say Hull have had a successful season. They have certainly over achieved as far as I am concerned.

Might be the "price of success" as smug says, but they've just spent 19 pages of ****e going into meltdown about the price rise !! Its hilarious on their board with the in-fighting about the name change, the price increase and movement of season ticket holders so the away fans are moved from behind the goal. Its all on one thread and apparently its all smugs fault. Nothing to do with the mad owner they have who has already changed the company name to Hull Tigers (obviously without FA approval) and this after he stated that "Football, like life itself, should be free". Looks like they are another club with a complete ****er at the helm. And obviously a complete ****er as a manager.!!

Love the logic, but the main comments about him are in reply to Sunderland fans on there as usual, and the replies simply pointed out he's a sad, lonely old man.

PS, you don't need FA approval to change the company name, that was done some time back.:emoticon-0105-wink:

They're not 'pointing it out' you sad obsessed sack of ****, you lot know absolutely nothing about me.
It's just an image you've all conjured up to give you some comfort ....... absolutely ludicrous behaviour from 'grown men'.

Sad? Because I saw my club finish above Hull, because I saw us beat Newcastle twice or because I had a a 4 day weekend at Wembley?
I go to Sunderland games with my 3 sons, all in my avatar, and meet up with some great supporters I've known for 4 decades.
I meet up with people from here and, believe me, there's some cracking lads ........ sad, lonely old man, you're ****ing clueless son.

Hull posters, like you, simply resort to getting personal because you don't have any answers <laugh>
OLM came on here for yet another pop at me, this week, and got his arse licked as usual. Then, like you and the rest of your little Humberside dimwits, scurries back to the Hull board where you can all obsess without any fear of reply.

Yet every time I jerk your chain you jump, it's ****ing laughable.

What do you lot have if you always have to revert to stupid childish personal attacks? **** all is the answer.
How sad that you can only make comments from the safety of your own board.

You, yourself, are another Albert's Chip Shop, who engineered a ban from your board months ago ....... yet here you are again obsessing.
I've been told he never misses a chance to obsess about me on the Newcastle board.
Honestly, can't you see how pathetic that makes you two little dopes look?

What a crock of ****e. I base my low opinion of you on the lies and half arsed ****e you post on here. (see above)

You may well be a great bloke in real life, and you may well just have the thick, sad old tosser full of **** tag down to a fine art, but your forum persona's all we have to base it on.

This 'engineered' ban you blub about was nothing of the sort. I even posted a quote that explained some if it to you. You were banned, not at my request, but after comments from five or more different boards and their mods. They all formed the same opinion of you, spouting ****e and lies then running away saying you're being picked on.

My guess is a load more pages of the old ****e from smug, before he tries to claim it's just a master plan to lift my chain. Oh yeah, fascinating bloke. <laugh>

You keep claiming that but you never actually provide any proof .......... an empty vessel indeed.

I've never said I've been picked on, not once.

Do I care about being banned from your little empire where you 'tidy up the board' by removing posts and entire threads when you lose yet another argument? Do I ****. You'll be claiming next that you're not wound up despite your endless obsession.
You'd warned me, on a daily basis, that you'd ban me and then, guess what, I'm banned <laugh>
But you're too cowardly to just hold your hands up, cue the endless wriggling that no one but you cares about.

What a coward when you come over here to make childish personal comments then run back to the safety of your own little board.

What 'forum persona' do you believe you have son <ok>

Well, apart from the quote that mentions the very reasons you were banned from several boards which you repeatedly deny, and the quote where others mention you whining about being picked on, which was a part of the excuse you offered when you left the board (coincidentally when Sunderland looked down)

You keep trying to spin things away from the painful truth and ignoring the reality. Keep posting these lies and bullshit to amuse yourself by tugging my chain. It really doesn't make you look like a sad lonely old man, banned from most boards for being a boring tit at all, people see through it to the fascinating character you really must be.

I was self-banned from the Leeds board for repeatedly calling them, including another Mod, a pack of ****s which is what they were being.
I went on, for the first time ever, asking about cup final tickets and was met with a barrage of abuse.
I responded in kind as I always do ......... no loss being banned from a board I have no interest in is there?

Don't try to smokescreen the issue by bringing in other boards that are absolutely nothing to do with you.

I don't have to justify my behaviour to a snotty-nosed jumped-up little board Hitler like you.
Incidentally why do you take such an interest in me and what happens on other people's boards ......... **** all better to do or just obsessed?

    Banned from most boards <laugh>

You're a ****ing idiot son, just keep thrashing away .......

You weren't self banned at all. <laugh>

I mention the other boards because it's one of the many examples of the bullshit and lies from you on here.

The laugh is, you're upset with me because your pride was hurt at being banned from ours, primarily for being a liar and posting ****e, and it wasn't me that banned you. It was one of the most placid mods on the network.

It's not a case of taking an interest, it was simply mentioned in the quote from the main mods that was pointing exactly what I am. you post bollocks and lies to stir up ****e and leg it when the going gets tough and try to slope the blame onto everyone else.

You seem terrified that Sunderland posters should get along with visitors. <laugh>

I get on great with many decent visitors who don't come on making cracks about Sunderland special needs then denying they've said it.

I've spoken to Typical Terry, Man Utd, today and QWOP yesterday who's Newcastle.
One of my favourite posters, Sombrero, is a Mag. I've been 'talking to him' on here for over a decade.
That's before when your poor mam was still tying your shoelaces.

I talk to lots of people quite happily but you only search the boards for examples of when I've ****ed someone off.
I only ever do that if I believe it's justified, it's not just to amuse myself as you seem to believe.

As I've always said I treat people as they deserve ....... a coward like you doesn't deserve the cheese off my foreskin <ok>
