How stupid after doing this after 5 races. Mid season rule changing is bollocks in my opinion by the FIA.

 

Maybe Vettel shouldn't have said he thought RBR could catch Mercedes, not good to threaten the FIA marketing cash cow.

 

Technically the car has been illegal up to now and they're being let off

If Sauber can be disqualified for a rear wing that's a little big, why haven't Red Bull been disqualified for this?

That article definitely suggests Red Bull interpreted one rule to their advantage, and ignored another.

 

So, at the start of the season it passed, then they start to catch up to Merc and suddenly it's illegal.

 

At the start of the season the stewards 'overlooked' the rule saying how far off the centre line it had to be. No rules have changed, big teams get away with anything these days

 

I think it all depends on what they see as the most commercially profitable interpretation.

 

Obviously the rule was written in the wrong kind of ink or something as Red Bull are ignoring the FIA

It's a petty thing for them to do, but if the FIA allow RBR to get away with it then all the teams will do it, so the onboard TV pics will be crap.

It was FOM that complained about the camera situation.
