http://www.forzawatford.com/2014/05...nical-supervisor-udinese-granada-watford/3028 This looks interesting...... any views? Same details here: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/11224785._/ By technical are we talking tactics, coaching and style of play. Or the bigger picture of managing squads and transfers?
I think he is to be a knowledge source for the coaches of the three clubs in the manner of Bertie Mee when Graham Taylor was coach and Keith Burkinshaw with some of the other managers,.
It is expected that the Italian will assist Hornets’ technical director Gianluca Nani at Vicarage Road, but exactly how his time will be spent between the three clubs is, as yet, unknown. Nani needs all the help he can get.
What a job though. Every weekend, telling the missus "Just off to watch Granada, then Udinese, then Watford...." Sigh.....
Maybe he'll be in a position to identify which players from the 'pool' each team needs and move around accordingly... Ie Watford need a pacey striker, Udinese have a spare so sends one over! Otherwise it may just be reporting how well the senior staff are performing to the owners
Just sniffs of them looking after one of their own with a nice job after he retires as Udinese manager to me....
