Yes, she knows. TBF, when I bought the house we'd only been together for a few months so I did it completely on my own. The positive for her is she doesn't have to pay towards anything hard standing such as doors, windows, etc. Basically anything you can't take with you, if she did then it means she has a claim to the house because she'd paid for "that bit". Of course, on the other side of the coin it protects her too. When I bought the house I got it on 100% mortgage about a year before the recession hit so its been in negative equity for ages. If I'd missed payments and it had been repossessed, the same paperwork excluded her from proceedings. Just got out of the negative equity about a year or so ago!
