Looks like there's a price hike coming later this week...

Holding back on price increases for the previous 2 or 3 seasons makes this a big jump all at once. Talking about 30% being better than 50% which was a possibility is like asking if you want to be kicked in 1 of your ball or both.

Maybe some might have to cancel their sky sports subscriptions, that is if watching Man U v Liverpool isn't more important to them than watching City live. Get rid of sky sports and that money funds the £100 increase on 3 passes - which no one will be forking out anyway.

It's not a massive increase for anyone but the unemployed, but I think it's safe to say they won't be season ticket holders anyway.

My neighbour & his wife are East Stand passholders, with their two 17 year old student sons, they are now facing an annual increase of £324

I know at least two season ticket holders who are unemployed. Both of their families struggled over the last 4 years to find the money for the pass. But your ok so that's alright.

A 37.5 hour week on minimum wage - which loads of people in Hull are on - pays less than £1200 a month.

Not far off half a months wages to watch football? Hell of a commitment.

I'm lucky I'm still in the 16-22 category or I wouldn't be going next year.

But let me guess, you're planning on renewing your Sky World HD Multiroom package as well as paying for the increased season ticket and all European Games so everyone else can get to **** yes?!

    Such a narrow minded view!

There are many ways for the debt to disappear. Use the gate receipts and the TV money to repay it over the next 10 years or so, that's one less player a season we buy. Reduce the debt by £20 or £30 million and sell the club. Whichever way he does it means he'll have paid exactly £1 for Hull City's shares, significantly less than the rest of us.

I agree we can't keep increasing the debt but £1.5 million from season ticket holders isn't going to make a very dent in the debt.

What a load of crap you write Golaccio. It's people like you who complain about this that and the other that might just turn the FA's heads and back Allam to change the name to the Hull Tigers. We need to strengthen the squad this season coming and we can't expect the Allam's to consistently keep dipping into their wallets without raising revenue from tickets. The Allams have got us into the Prem, FA Cup final, Europe, and a fantastic manager. It is now time for the supporters who have the opportunity to buy season's tickets to get behind the club and support them. The Hull City til we die group had a good victory against the Allams and it is now time for them to show their support and buy their season's tickets so we can generate enough money to get the players we need to move up the table and not down.

CTWD will be happier when the club confirms that having increased pass prices by 30%, the name change nonsense will now be dropped.

Yes and it's Sky TV and BT Sport that do it.

So are the away fans moving into the north east corner, ie. part of the north and part of the east, or they all going into the east leaving the whole north stand for City?

I'm not being funny but people claiming benefits shouldn't have season tickets at a PL football club ffs.

The state funding of season tickets is a step too far.....

I'm still not clear about this, the plans looked like the away fans were just being moved into E1-E3, but I don't think that's 2,500, so it might also include N7.

I really struggle to understand how an unemployed person, can afford to eat, never mind buy a season pass.

Yeah maybe. There's disabled blocks either side in N6 and E4 so whether they incorporate one of them into the away end who knows. I suppose there will be segregation issues.
