Let's visit recent history as a guide to the future....

Take the case of Joey Barton - in an identical situation last Summer returning from Marseilles.

It surprised us all when his name was on the team sheet vs Sheffield Wednesday on 03 August 2013.

He proved that you can put the errors of your ways behind you and make a successful return to the hearts of QPR fans.

Here's hoping that Adel can do the same.

finding it tough to adapt to the guidelines laid down by Milan coach Clarence Seedorf

Very vague. What does that mean?

One of our respected posters (sorry cant remember who) referred to the tough physical training that is demanded by Italian clubs.

Cant imagine Seedorf being much different.

Tough disciplined training ? Now why would Adel struggle to adapt to that ?

Well it would be sensible to keep our options open.

Adel split us in our attitude towards him but very few wanted JB back after his display at Manchester City. If Joey can do it, Adel can too.

i was speaking to a Milan fan this weekend (suprisingly) and he said that thier fans are also very divided over him.

The guy i was talking to said he cannot stand Adel and wanted him gone, but his parents loved him...

Seems he's managed to split thier crowd too.

the Italiann mentality is very diffrent from the British and a lot more proffesional. (Im sure Stan will confirm)

we slowly catching up or at least it think we are

anyone remember when Gazza went to Lazio? He came back to play for England and beat all our boys at the "beep test" and other fitness tests.

i know that was then, but its just an example of differing cultures.

adel will find it hard anywhere purely down to his attitude. there's no denying his skill but thats not enough.

Dont know the truth in this story, but i thought he was doing alright out there? Anyone follow Italian Footy?

Probably means he is struggling with the fact that he is expected to turn up to training on time.

Yes, Joey has been one prodical son that has redeemed himself but I think that there is one difference with him to Taarabt and that is we knew that Joey does have a professional attitude, he has shown it at his previous clubs. Yes, he did the odd stupid thing but deep down his attitude was right, he does care for the club that he is playing for.

Adel has never shown any professionalism or any sign that he has the correct attitude. If he does come back he will think that he has a God given right to go back into the team ahead of the likes of Joey, Krancjar and dare I say Benayoun and when he doesn't he will be back to his old rattle throwing self. I used to be a great fan but not any more. Get rid I say.

We missed him this year but the reality is we need a happy dressing room. The whole team will change anyway regardless of what division we are in

Sell him to anyone for a reasonable price

Simply cannot come back to QPR under any circumstances

    We've moved on

We need to sell. We need the money. We can't have him back just seeing out his contract.
