    I'd go upto £6m as I'd see him as at least our 3rd choice, probably a starter. When he's playing regular football he's very impressive and that may just swing it in our favour should we declare interest.

    Thought he had a good stint at the mackems but he was woeful at times last season for the Mancs, in his defence (sorry), he didn't get a good run in the side, but Fergie still had confidence in him! £5m max!

    But seriously, yes i would have him at a reasonable price, i'd rather get someone foreign for cheap so we can have two European defenders and two English 'hoofers' who'll get rid when needs be...

    Looking at our defence, I would defiantley have him, he is better then Williamson in my opinion who can be solid but is partial to a moment of madness!!

    He is young and with a run of games will drastically improve, also im sure he can play left back aswell can't he? Sure he did for N.Ireland

    As for Man U letting him go, Man U are now trying to catch up with Barcelona so they are trying to buy the top talent around, so he needs to make room for them, just because they let a player go doesnt mean they are rubbish, just a side product of the matter, that they are trying to build a team to win the champions league!!!

    Look at Park he is a good player and has scored some crucial goals for them, but doesnt normally get a look in, in their starting line up!!
