I just don't get why he is doing this, he has stated the revenues gained from season ticket prices is so minimal, yet he decides to increase them. Surely a better strategy would be to keep prices the same and get the people who don't care about the name change on his side, so then he has another vote in say six months, those who where on the edge might think, hey he kept prices down he's not that bad. Surely he should be trying to win over all the support to his genius idea of 'Hull Tigers' but no, that's far to sensible and might actually work. Lets go down the route of pissing of even more fans, and pissing of some who even voted for him.
Have CTWD been hysterical? So, now you've finally caught up, welcome to Allam bashing; a genuine part-time occupation, enjoyed only by those with an ability to spot his bullshit. Took your time, though.
There's no internal changes applied for in the planning app. Just a tweak of the turnstiles and outer fence, which doesn't stack up with where the toilets and concessions are, and I'm not sure how the fence would work.
Unless they intend to demolish a wall or build a new kiosk there is the potential loss of revenue form the away fans having no drinks facility unless they are going to be allowed to mix with the home fans in the concourse. There are male and female toilet facilities in the E1 to E3 block. There's also the question of the gap between supporters in E3 and E4 and how big that will be.
He would've put the prices up anyway even if he had got his own way. He never had any business plan behind the name change & his son confirmed it.
There is one thing I'd like to chip in here. Allam proposed to change the name to make money. Everyone (rightly) moaned. Put ticket prices up instead if you want to raise cash, just don't **** with the name, colours etc. we all said. Allam proposes to raise ticket prices. Everyone moans. What's changed?
