I posted this ages ago. "1 The increase in season pass prices is due to the inability of the club to market itself globally because of the protest against the name change. 2 The increase in season pass prices is due to the loss of income due to the protracted FA application process. 3 There will not be any increase in season pass prices as the new club name has attracted a major investor. 4 There will not be any increase in season pass prices if the FA accepts the name change. Take your pick Or Assems revenge East Stand e1 to e4 £600, no concessions, no juniors. That will teach you for singing "No Assem No", sorry North stand sold out! West Stand upper £200 with a free blanket and unlimited bovril. Your silence is appreciated. Actually there is a move to introduce safe standing to the East stand. Its in the corner of West Park at the top end of Walton Street. It doesnt matter how much it is really, if the name changes I will not be renewing." Ok, I will be renewing, but only because my missus said that its either go to watch City or go to the gym more!
A £130 pass rise, which it is, will only raise between £1 and £1.5 million given that only 9000 are full paying passholders, that was one place in the league, the rise was agreed at least two weeks or three games from end of season, because we could have finished three places higher and £4.8m more in prize money. So given that a cheque is due for £60 odd million shortly is the price rise, (a) spite (b) greed or (c) needed for investment
If it works out at £28 a game as iv read on here, the won't that still make us one of the cheapest for a season pass ? If that's the case I don't see that as greed, or even a kick in the nuts . And the cheaper prices promise was made with the bigger stadium in mind . £28 a game seems ok to me .
all this though from a man who never goes back on his word and promised making the stadium bigger and also family tickets to games for 20 quid !
I'm against the name change but have avoided the hysterical reaction to it and consequent Allam bashing on here. I've got to say though he really is starting to get on my tit end. For numerous reasons.
Just upgraded to unlimited LightStream. If the KC price hikes go through, may need to downgrade from West Upper. Why are E1 to E3 being moved?
Think he said he would reduce ticket prices IF he owned the stadium and IF he increased the size . He doesn't own it.....he hasn't increased the size. So he hasn't actually broke that promise .
.... Less need to leave empty rows maybe ? Stage 1 towards safe standing in the north stand maybe ? Sure someone will have more idea then me...
Its so the home fans are behind the goal to create a better atmosphere. This was suggested by pearson originally
