Have any of you heard of this guy: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...td-Man-City-and-Chelsea-set-to-pounce-on-star Any good? Never heard of him- but seems to be making a fuss. Do you think we could swap Aspas for him?
lot of miles on the clock though... age and miles are two different things. i eman ok age has a part to play but you can just plain wear a player down and for me he looks quite tired and with a world cup coming up i wodner if next year he'll struggle... for messi...
I can imagine Messi playing for Chavski and being told he's not 100% committed to the club and should play more defensive - like Willian. Mourinho would have him playing like Bernard Diomede
Well, take any of them? "@GuillemBalague: The list of players not wanted or going: Valdés, Pinto, Puyol, Song, J. Dos Santos, Afellay, Tello, Cuenca, S. Roberto, Oier." "@GuillemBalague: List of players that the club will listen for offers (doesn't mean they are going for sure): Cesc, Alves, Adriano, Alexis, Mascherano, Pedro"
Tello I think we'll go in for - we inquired about him in the January window but they weren't willing to let him go then. Sanchez, at the right price. He was class at Udinese but, imo, underperformed at Barca and hasn't really impressed. Another player with huge potential Rodgers could do well with and a versitile, pacey forward. Fits the bill. Rest can do one
Dirty Sanchez 18mil.... Gerrard to cream lallana in wc training then say you were never our choice.... That's of course not what'll occur cos we have some class after all It'd more be like we bid 6 until someone else finall bids in August then we'll fly out with a last ditch bid and find the player is already bought by spurs/Chelsea and we end up offering 30 mil to southampton
I love watching messi play but if you watch him when he doesn't have the ball he just wanders about looking uninterested. Can you imagine Maureen trying to get him to back track. He'd have him playing behind the left back.
Barca have signed the young German keeper so looks like Reina's whoring out of himself last summer hasn't done him much good. We need to hope Napoli and a couple of others show some interest in him this summer.
It's not a English quota, it's home grown. Hart, Wright, Lescott, Richards, Clichy, Milner, Rodwell, Barry and Sinclair all count as home grown. Fair enough, they could be better but there are nine there and they only need eight, they don't need to buy home grown players. As if Man Utd could afford Messi Can't see us getting much for him no matter what happens now, £4m-£6m tops.
They have but that's also seven players, how often are the media that accurate? Edit: I know Lescott is out of contract this summer, isn't Barry too?
So with quite a small squad anyways their deciding to sell them all, crazy decision. I would take take about six of them, but only two would actually come.
