I am hoping that since ST holders had early dibs, many of the Q,P and R block are still sitting together. If we are scattered among people who are coming just because it is at Wembley, the singing and supportive chants might be diluted out. We need a cracking atmosphere as at the Wigan home game if at all possible. I had the privilege a few years back of watching Man U v Barca at Wembley. There was a very frustrated Man U fan behind me because few people were not singing with the volume & passion he felt they ought to be. Do they change the rules for instruments? I note on the thread about cameras that registered instruments were allowed. It would be annoying if Derby turn up with a brass band and we have nothing to help the cheering on. I have instructed my party that I expect loud cheering from them!
Are you serious about a brass band ??? Along with the Mexican Wave....it's truly the most annoying thing about modern day football
The bloke sitting beside me at the semi last week didn't sing once the whole night and kept staring at me every time I sang. Do people come to football games expecting silence? If they do, thats fine but please don't stare at people because they are cheering on their team.
He must have done a lot of staring at fans, because the whole ground was singing that night. May be he was a Fulham supporter looking for a new home. Making too much noise is alien to them
Agree completely but my concern is that there will be a fair few that will not and we need that 12th man.
I'm sure derby will have more proper fans there but we can make up for that, keep the songs simple and often. Derby have their 12th man, Lee mason who is a shocking appointment for such a big game, its like the fa don't want us in the PL.
It is strange because there are much better refs. Having said that, Clattenberg, not noted for doing QPR favours (despite him being the ref at our Hillsborough promotion!), had a good game on Monday night with a perfect call for the penalty. Let's hope we don't give him reason for any dodgy decisions.
