THORESBY Towcester 4.10 9-2 Just missed 5's while typing this up. THORESBY won this race last year racing off the exact same mark so his chance his totally obvious. He will also have the very tidy Kielan Woods taking a handy 3lbs off his back. The yard has been in the rudest of health just lately and I am pretty confident that this one can continue the very good recent run!

MERDON CASTLE 7:05 Windsor - something reckless about taking Hannon two year olds on at this track but I had this one down to follow before he ran at Kempton and he was massively impressive there. I like this colt a lot!

Very sad news has emerged that Jimmy Fortune's wife died unexpectedly yesterday so he will not be taking up any of his booked rides for the foreseeable future.
 
Awful news. I wish the family well and it does put sport into perspective when things like that happen.

Foxtrot Knight is due to run at Goodwood on Friday, hope the weather stays good!!
 
Very quite again I agre with stick on thorsby main bet throw in no 2 and 11 for a allways tricast small then ew onlovecen scudamore may push tha fav topwood to early
 
It might not be the best days racing ever but 12 posts on a daily thread!

I just thought I would post about Betvictor's website which shows betting without the favourite on most races. There is some incredible value to had from time to time on these markets and a great inconsistency on the prices offered.

Whilst I am not suggesting either of these will win tonight they are exceptionally good propositions if you do fancy them.

Windsor 6.35
Paint the star 2-1 fav
Arabian Queen 10-30 or 3-1 without the fav

Windsor 8.35
Searchlight 11-4 Fav
Sleepy Sioux 3-1 0r 11-4 without Searchlight

You are losing only 1/3 of a point and a 1/4 of a point to take the fav out completely which has to be value. I cannot believe a bet with the fav on either of these has been struck.
