@SimonPeach: Two members of #SaintsFC staff are indeed leaving. They're not first-team departures & with legal proceedings ongoing I won't name names.

when someone's contract is terminated for gross misconduct, its just done, and legal proceedings are not usually needed. Where a contract is terminated for a reason other than gross misconduct, then it will need to be negotiated, and will be under a legal agreement of some kind, especially if there is to be a non disclosure agreement - i.e. no kiss and tell stories after the event!

 

Depends whether they dispute the misconduct claim or something more serious went on. Saints could want to take legal action if needed. There are too many different things that could have happened to guess now.

 

I honestly don't know. Brighton have/had them also, so it's not in the realm of the unthinkable that other clubs will like the idea and follow suit!

 

Jason Dodd and Paul Williams perhaps...

 

I guess legal is most likely to be "contractual", as in someone thinks they are owed money or something. Unless there's been an Osvaldo style bust up...which I suppose would be more interesting.

 

Paul Williams Vs Radhi Jaidi. I honestly couldn't call it.

 

Very harsh if it's for a result based reason. Doddsy's teams have always performed well with good results. It's the U21's who don't do as well.

 

Given we don't even know if it is them or not, it seems a bit premature to speculate on the reasons!

Could this be part of all these stories coming out about Saints? Or could it actually be something illegal? There are plenty of departments we are not thinking about...not necessarily on football side at all.

 

When people aren't named it usually means it's nobody too important.

Just like when you see a headline along the lines of "Premier League Star's Cocaine Shame" it's never a big star, it's always someone who made 3 sub appearances for Stoke.

 

nixon is making a big deal out of it. as unreliable as he may be, it's hard to imagine him doing that over someone with no profile.

 

Doubt it would be, I don't think the club gives a toss about results, it's more about progressing players.

 

@bigadamsport: I have no confirmation from anyone on this , but the two #saintsfc departures being talked about could be Jason Dodd & Paul Williams

 

why in ****ting christ would he tweet that he's got no confirmation who has been sacked but dodd and willo basically fit the criteria of "pair of guys"?

 

Maybe he has reason to believe their positions were under threat.
