  1. Not judging at all, especially as I don't know you or your circumstances, but it would take something massive for me to even contemplate leaving because of the kids (also got three and I'm 33 <yikes>). You must have been seriously unhappy

Right. **** yer. I'm going to bore you all ****less with my sorry tale of love's labours lost <laugh>

I first went out with the bird in question when I was 18. Was seeing her for about 6 months. At this time, she was a nurse. Very attractive, massive tits, good laugh and horny as ****. I then went to uni and tapped up a very fit bird down there. I brought her back one weekend and went to a disco with her. The other one was at the disco, saw us and burst into tears. That was the last time I saw her for about 20 years. She went off and got married, as I did.

So 20 years later, I went into my then local (not the Cheese) for a few beers after work. I was at the bar chatting to someone and felt a slap on my arse. It was Christine, who was with another woman I knew. She looked ****ing stunning. She'd been married, had three kids, set up her own successful homecare business (wiping people's arses at home etc) and had got divorced 7 years earlier. She had been married to a bloke I'd known since I first moved to Warrington from Liverpool, who was a decent feller.

It sort of started there. She started coming into the Mull regularly on a Friday and we'd sit and have a drink and a chat. We then started meeting and going to other pubs for a bit of privacy. This went on for about 6 years, but no shagging of even snogging was going on. It was clear, however, that we were both massively attracted to each other. We were on the run up to Christmas one year. My wife and I weren't really seeing eye-to-eye and were having a few rows. Ultimately, it culminated in my wife not allowing my Dad to come for Christmas dinner if he brought his lady friend with him (my Mum had died following a long period of dementia), but he could come on his own. My dad wouldn't wear it and I hit the roof and walked out. I called my two closest mates, but couldn't get hold of either of them, so I walked round to Christine's. She opened the door and let me in and I proceeded to tell her what had happened. I explained that this could be the final straw and I was considering leaving her. She said that if I did, she would give us a serious go, 'serious' being marriage somewhere down the road.

I did leave and moved in with my reporter mate and ultimately got divorced. By now, I was obviously seeing an awful lot more of Christine, in every sense of the phrase. I then started to understand her personality in a more fundamental way and it wasn't always very pretty at all. She had suffered on and off with depression, which I knew, and this didn't help. So when it was great, it was ****ing fantastic and when it wasn't, it was ****ing awful, but by this time, I was desperately in love with her. After a very turbulent 6 years or so, she dumped me. By this time, she was also a millionaire from her business and through property investment. I was absolutely distraught. Couldn't sleep, couldn't work, just drank and smoked blow all the time and ultimately lost my job, getting into serious debt in the process. I didn't work for 9 months and I'd never been out of work in my life. I'm over it now, but it took a ****ing long time.

It was obviously a lot more involved than that, but you get my drift. My advice? Don't allow yourself to get to this stage and treat them like ****. That's what they seem to like. Don't crawl or grovel. Leave them to it. If they come back, they come back. The sad thing is I believed then that we truly were 'made for each other'. Just shows how wrong you can be <laugh>

Couldn't agree more, RHC. My woman advice would be don't listen too much to what they say, but how they say it. Also, actions speak louder than words. A woman of words but not of deeds (BJs, mostly!) is like a garden ripe with weeds. <laugh>

    Life's a bitch......and then you marry one...

Tough story mate, I've had some shockers as well tbh, but the way I look at it, is all of that life experience has contributed to who we are today (in your case ****ing massive obviously :) )

Yeah, realised that. What I meant was, did you find your tolerance levels were higher because of the kids? would you have left sooner had the kids not been a factor.

I had a different problem in as much as the girl I was seeing was so clingy, she would do anything for me, and basically loved the bones off me! It got to the stage where I did everything I could think of to get rid of her! I did all the usual things at first like wiping my cock on her curtains after we shagged, pissing in her kitchen sink, shagging her sister, but none of these things worked. She just would not be put off! The more I acted the bastard the more she fooking liked it!

We've now been married 19 Years! :bandit:

    Women love bastards! <ok>

Cheers for sharing RHC you soft sod. I sense a Woody Allen film adaptation is in the offing. That last para is THE TRUTH though... as sad as it is you've got to just be a cool, stone hearted bastard with them, it's the only thing that seems to keep 'em interested. AND if they are interested they'll be making all the running that's for sure.

There are easier ways, Tobes ... amoebic dysentery springs to mind! Failing that, have an infestation of cestode platyhelminths followed by anti-helminth tablets when you reach your ideal weight*! <ok>
