Along the same lines of Wize's 'I Wish I Could Meet' how about famous people that you have met, not including footballers.

    I'll start - Van Morrison.

An what a miserable bastard he was too !! Not happy with delaying the Aer Lingus flight from Bristol - Dublin by half an hour, he was the grumpiest son of a bitch imaginable.

And Kip Keino, he was at the time looking round my school. I had no idea who he was until he and his entourage had left.

Ran in races including Mo Farah, Kipsang, Kebede, Bikele etc- Never managed to catch them up!
Met Ian Botham when he was about 17. Met and chatted with Seb (Lord) Coe and was surprised how short he was. Tanni Grey-Thompson met and she also handed me a bottle of water at the Great North Run.Both really nice and interesting people.

Met Henry Cooper, a real gentle giant, Tommy Docherty in his zenith as Man Utd manager, came across as a thick twat, had a pint with Gerry Marsden (Gerry and the Pacemakers) a real honest gent..

The nicest celebrity I've met was Jimmy Carr. I've met him twice before, once at a gig where he signed something for me and had a brief chat with me, and once in Bristol before one of his gigs. He remembered me from the first time I had met him and offered to buy me a coffee.

Another nice guy I met was Nick Clegg. I'm not necessarily a fan of his, or any politician for that matter, but he seemed like a nice enough guy.

Never met david Bowie though. He was one of my life ambitions.
My hairdresser spent the evening with him, my ex danced with him in a club in NYC back in 1979, various people I have worked with have hung out with him. I was even signed to the same label for a while and still never got to meet him.
Still, you know what they say...never meet your heroes (even if it is just for one day)
