Will Pochettino stay or go?

(The answer is stay btw, but you didn't hear it here first...obviously)

 

I think Mauricio is keeping his powder dry...he can afford to wait as he still has that year on his contract (God, I am sick of hearing that phrase). It all depends on what offers are about in the next month or so. I'm tending towards him staying by default.

 

I give it two weeks. Teams like to get a new manager in or tie a current manager down for more years early so they can start shaping things for the up coming season.

Neither do I. Although I can't help but think if my dislike of him is clouding my thoughts as to whether or not he would be a good manager for us. No one could argue that what he has done at Sunderland hasn't been pretty impressive. But no, thinking about it I still don't want him.

 

Similar to myself then (though I'd take him over Sherwood any day of the week). He's the current favourite for a job that doesn't exist right now, hence the question. I think Garcia did a pretty good job at Brighton, but I'd like to think we'd be somewhat more ambitious should the situation arise than Oscar Garcia/Malky Mackay/Tim Sherwood.

 

Not a massive fan, great escape impressive but he also put them in that position. Without Borini could be tough next year.

 

Oh I think PDC needs to take some credit for the position Qwerty.......

I'm not sure but for me it's "pay an exorbitant amount of money or he's going nowhere and even then I won't be happy"!

 

People still have a grudge against Poyet from the "Dagenham and Redbridge" days. It's stupid. Get over it. He's clearly a good manager.

Same. Nowt to do with D&R, I just think he's a bit of a tit. Passionate, sure. But so was PDC and he's an arch tit.

 

I just don't like him. He has a nasty way about him and good manager or not, I just can't warm to him. Now if he dances round Wembley next May with the FA Cup in his hands and a saints tie on, I might start warming to him

And to be honest you saying you don't hold a grudge is irrelevant, many people do.

 

I don't know what it is, just something about him puts me off him. Not saying he hasn't done well, I just wouldn't want him here.
