You didn't seem too great tbh when you nicked a draw of us at anfeild, and when we beat you 1-0 at home last season. Let's face it mate, you are living of reputation and you have been for a few years now. But most of your fans arnt idiots unlike you, and for that reason I hope Liverpool do well.

    gbsafc4eva,

"we beat you 1-0 at home last season."

I think you had better go and look again at last season's results - think you'll find that WE beat you at your place. Seem to remember Bruce saying something like "we were beaten by the better team. I'll admit that".

BTW it's "off us" not "of us" but even then it is not grammatically correct.

A player development is usually determined by the coaches said player is coached by.Liverpools coaches are superior in every way to Sunderlands. If yoiu are coached by mid-table standard coaches, you will be a mid-table standard player. If you are coached by top class coaches, you are likely to be a top class player. So the lack of development in Jordan Henderson has more to do with the imbeciles he was coached by at Sunderland than him, himself. He's going to be coached by top class coaches now,so he will improve considerably.

So no good player has ever come out of a midtable club? Ferdinand, Rooney, G. Johnson, Carrick, J. Cole (before his injury), Carrol etc are just mid-table standard player then?

****ing hell don't mention Carrick on a Liverpool forum unless your slating him..... Get ready for a KPR onslaught.

Also the quote of 'if you are coached by a top class coach you are likely to become a top class player' ........... hmmmmmmmmm. I really fail to see this logic considering how many players fall by the wayside after being coached by top class coaches throughout their development.

That's not what KPR is saying. If you take all of the players you quoted, did they not improve significantly when they were surrounded by better playyers and coaches? That's the point he's making.

They were regarded as excellent players before their moves, and they did pretty much all their developing at their parent club. Its pretty arrogant to say no player can be regarded as good if they play for a midtable club.

I said players can reach a certain level when coached by mid-table coaches, but to progress further, they will do so under top coaches. So Henderson will improve further due to the better standard of coaching he will recieve.

To be fair Dave you have clarified how you read the point but if you read what was actually said ' if you are coached byh midtable clubs you will likely be a mid table player' - that's a bit harsh aswell as wrong.

However since RVF's post KPR has clarified what he was trying to get at.

<laugh> I felt like that before when I used to say Lucas had potential and needed time to adapt to an enviroment which he isn't familiar with.

In all honesty I do rate Carrick, I don't think he's as vital to Man Utd's system as people make out though and he isn't some sort of genius who's contribution to football isn't noticed because fans are blinkered and don't understand the finer details of what Carrick brings to the team. He's very much a player that does the simple things well but will never stand out in a game and beat 2 or 3 men and score a 25 yard screamer. If I could make a comparison to a current player I would say he's like a stoned version of Lucas, he has the same sort of passing range and he's always there for the defenders and other midfielders as an outlet but he doesn't have the stamina and capability of pressing opponents like Lucas does. Michael Carrick = A lethargic version of Lucas, that's my conclusion.

    Yeah i read that somewhere
The price for Henderson will be 11mil£ in the end
16mil£ for him and we sell N'Gog for 5mil£ that brings it to 11Mil£ and i think we have a good deal

Wow, why so bitter towards Sunderland Skylarker? And most of the people who have commented on this thread. All insulting Sunderland, but for what reason? gbsafc4eva came and told you his opinion, so why did that lead to you insulting Sunderland's players and coaching staff. Don't let the good end of the season get to your heads. The position of a team in the league is completely irrelevant to the level of the coaching staff, when you were by the bottom of the table were your coaches poor?

I like Liverpool, but wow some of you are pricks!
