Being reported that we will buy Reading's young(ish) goalkeeper Alex McCarthy for £3m or so and then sell Vorm for £5m+...Liverpool being the favourites to land Vorm. if this were to happen I would be pleased. Vorm has underperformed this season, decent young British goalie and £2m+ profit to spend elsewhere sounds like a good deal.

Another player I'd like us to look at is Ricardo Rodriguez who is a Swiss international playing left-back for Wolfsburg in the German top flight; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricardo_Rodríguez_(footballer) He's only 21 (yet has 19 caps already and will be at the World Cup), is good in the air and great going forward. He takes free-kicks and penaltys and has chipped in with goals. Watch him at the World Cup, he's quality...thought he would have joined his old manager Felix Magath at Fulham this summer but since they have been relegated I reckon we should make a swift decisive move. We could use the money made from a sale of Neil Taylor...we seem to be looking at a few HG players this summer so we should be alright on that front.
