Wouldn't ruin nothing! If you met Jesus, he told you, yeah heaven is real, so is hell, this happened etc etc. You would live your life right and happy knowing whats to come. If Jesus doesn't appear. You know its all a load of crap and you live your life the same knowing at the end you're going to be in a box.

All of those for me also.
But the one I met twice when I was five years that would be so interesting to talk to is my great-uncle, Ernest Bevin.
From very poor beginnings in North Devon to become the first Gen Secretary of the TGWU, Minister of Labour in the war cabinet, and Foreign Minister for six years 1946-51. In his life he met so many major world politicians including Roosevelt, Stalin and Adenauer so to hear all about that would have been so fascinating but he died when I was only seven.

a relative to be proud of, a great trade unionist, from when a trade union was something more than a collection of self interested individuals as many are now.

Wiz wrote..."There must be famous or notable people in recent history or your lifetime you would like to have met or have a chat with.

    Who are they...?

    Mine are..

    John Lennon.
    Elvis Presley.
    John. F. Kennedy.
    Muhammad Ali.
    George Best."

Well I met George Best in a pub in Chelsea.
I had just finished rehearsing my band in Battersea and we decided to go for a pint across the bridge.
I found an old back street pub and walked in first, eager to quench the thirst. The pub was empty, apart from one person sat nursing a wine glass.
I stood in the middle of the room, gawping like a goldfish at him.
George was staring at me, a smile of mischief in those impish Irish eyes, a knowing and understanding appraisal of Brightredrickster (I was called something else then). He knew the reaction and found it mildly amusing in a humble kind of way.

My lasting memory of that meeting was that George Best was nice, interesting, humorous, a basically good man and victim of his own genius

I have only met Jesus in a church, and frankly I am not in a massive hurry to meet him in any other way just yet. When it eventually happens i'm sure it will all be lovely...

I think the whole point of it Shiny is to develop a blind faith
As a Bristol city supporter you should already be aware of that

<laugh> Him, when he had a bit of anger about him.. That man stopped years of bloodshed even after being treated so horrendously.. not many would do that.

Amazing fact that a group of women spending long enough together will synchronise their periods together. How does it know.??
