Would love to go to Hadjuk Split, the City is amazing and the islands of the coast of Split are superb. The airport is only a short drive into the Centre and also you can get Jet2, Wizzair and Easy Jet into Split airport. Been a couple of times before more than happy to go back again.
Some of our delicate supporters wouldn't enjoy a visit to Hadjuk Split. Danger of asthma attacks, being incinerated and having their view spoilt. Set of nutters as fans as well. Fancy a ferry to Santander to watch us play Real Sociedad.
So, can we not be drawn against one of the teams from the 3rd qualifying round, it will be one from the 2nd qualifying round?
just soak that in... i know most fans around the world dont appreciate the europa league because they're all about the champions league... but **** me, hull city in europe for the first time with potential games against Villareal, Inter, Sevilla. Wolfsberg... absolutely excellent!
As an English team we are seeded up until the Group stages I believe (we may not be for the play offs)
You don't, it's the most drilling, boring 24 hours you'll ever experience, specially if the weathers ****e. The ferries are very basic, and they're extremely dear.
Yes we are, and we should be in pot 2 for the group. However, with a more lucrative winners prize this coming season, I guess more of the bigger teams will make a proper go of it and as such we could find ourselves in pot 3.
I thought so, I knew that it's likely we are going to get a big name provided we get to the group stages
Right I know I am going to sound really thick here but have not taken much notice of European football before apart from watching other English team on TV. When you say group is it like in the World cup etc when you have to accumulate so many points and the first one or two go through to the next round or is it 2 games, one away and one at home and the one whoever is the loser goes straight out of the competition.
Sligo Rovers, Dundalk or Derry please, for a mere £18 return flight. Can get (quite) cheap flights to - PSV Eindhoven (from Stansted), Dynamo Moscow (Easyjet from Manchester), Brugge (Brussels Charleroi from Manchester) so on and so forth. Just hope people can snap them up quickly! Want as bigger following as possible, unlike the devoted 16 or so who went to Germany last year.
San Sebastien (Real Sociedad) is a lovely city, they have mostly Basque players but with one or two foregners. Clearly I'd like Lyon as I live here but Belgium, Holland, North Spain, Switzerland or north Italy is possible for me to attend
For me would be nice to draw teams from hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Former Yugoslavia, Going to places we can't pronounce
