Champions league semi final second leg this is a game all football purists have been longing for German efficiency against sexy Spanish flair for me it has to be Madrid not only do they lead 1-0 from the first leg but I can't see them not scoring at the Allianz Arena although the Spaniards have never won there and that may continue tonight 3-2 home win with Madrid going through on away goals
going for a real Madrid versus Chelsea final - think Bayern have taken a step back under pep and Chelsea/mourinho seem to have a way of winning big games, especially at the bridge
Both good sides. Can't see RM not scoring so BM will have to score at least 2. If RM can sort out Robben then my money would be on RM.
in the end all too easy for real Madrid... mourinho needed to park 2 buses to stop Liverpool, hes going to need a whole fleet if they reach the final!
Two of the meanest defences in Europe go head to head in the Champion League semi final second leg at Stamford Bridge when Jose Mourinho's Chelsea go head to head with Diego Simeone's Athletico Madrid side all square at 0-0 after the first leg. Jose's task in to mastermind a final against his old club and prevent a La Liga shutout in the final. The game is likely to be finished in normal time and when was the last time Chelsea lost two homes games in a row not ever under Mournho I believe so I expect a win for the Londoners in a very congested affair with unlike last night not a winger insight but like last night plenty of wingers.
No chance now. Missed most of the game but saw Madrid's last goals after Chelsea went close to going ahead.
Just watched Ronnie O'Sullivan in Frame 14. Absolute Master Class. I had a few games of snooker the other day and I manage to miss the most straight forward of pots. I just watch in amazement as Ronnie makes it look so easy; and how they get the white ball to end up where they want it is just beyond me.
Ashley cole left out of englands world cup squad, luke shaw in. Brave decision by hodgeson, not certain its the right one. Will be interesting to see if the other more experienced players (lampard, defoe, carrick, milner etc) have been sacrificed for youth this time As long as its not cleverly..... he is the man that even gives me hope of playing for England!
Cambridge united promoted today - thank f*ck we don't have to go up to Gateshead! If we could lose Fleetwood as well it gets even better!
Yes agree with that mate if they fall kindly for me I'll be off to the away trips to Cambridge and Luton along with the close ones at Oxford and Northampton
