    Let's get it on.

    Tyrone Vs Down

First round of Ulster at Healy Park today.

I'm thinking Tyrone will have too much for the black shorted ones.

Seemingly every year we get the worst game ever on the first day of the Sunday Game but I'm really positive about the style of play this year.

Last week, Sean Cavanagh said he never got a yellow card he didn't want. I suspect most players are the same. The black card is ****ing great..... There. I've said it. AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CONTRADICT MYSELF.

Leinster Senior Hurling Championship Qualifier Group Round 4: London 0-16 Laois 2-13
Laois are through to the quarter-finals of the Leinster GAA Hurling Senior Championship following a hard-fought win over London in Ruislip on Sunday.
Séamus Plunkett's side secured their place in the main draw, along with already-qualified Antrim, thanks to their third straight win in the round-robin series.
Laois will face the Saffrons in Portlaoise next Sunday to see who tops the group and goes on to play Wexford (group winners) in the quarter-finals on June 1 and who plays Galway (runners-up) on the same day.
The O'Moore men made hard work of it in the second half of a game played in warm conditions in London, having led by 1-10 to 0-5 at the break through a Neil Foyle goal.
London closed the gap to within four points after 45 minutes, but a John Dunphy goal gave the visitors a cushion which was enough to see them over the line and into the last eight of the competition.
With just one point from their first three games, London's clash with Westmeath, who are in action against Carlow at 3pm, could be crucial in determining who avoids a play-off with the Christy Ring winners and potential to the second tier competition.

    Muck..... Absolute muck.

Down are pish. Tyrone are creating a lot but wasting it. Niall Morgan is taking the piss with his frees. Taking all day about it.

After a woeful first half, the second half was great entertainment.

So much happened it's hard to remember it all.

Tyrone got and scored a penalty when the ref should have shown the black card or allowed advantage.
Down got a penalty and the ref did show the black car to Morgan. Tyrone got another goal so Down answered with 2. Tyrone never scored from the 54th to 70th minute where they found themselves 2 points down. They managed to get a draw by scoring 2 frees. The second of which was when Cavanagh jumped on the floor to make certain the ref gave it. Very fortunate to get it. Cavanagh duly knocked it over.

3-8 to 2-11 or something like that.

First half was gash alright. The black card rule is as clear as mud and I think its unfair on the teams with small panels, I don't think it will have any major effect on a team like Dublin or whoever has a strong bench.
