Our record is 59 in Drogheda. Our last meet up was 35 in Claremorris, Co, Mayo which is a small town in the West of Ireland. A great bunch of lads and lassies attended that by the way and it was a priviledge to be there, thanks Mayo QPR (Brendan). How many would the Aussies get if you held it in somewhere out of the way? Our meet ups are all locals and do not include lads on holidays from the UK. We are hoping to have our next meet up in a world renowned, world class location. We expect a huge crowd to attend from all around Ireland and we would also expect a good crowd to attend from the UK. We are hoping to get sponsorship deals from airlines and hotels to reduce costs for anybody travelling. The clue is, there might be some free drinks involved and Norway will definetely want to attend. We can't announce details yet but we have held preliminary discussions.
Yes indeed, when I recently inspected my drinks cabinet, the level in that bottle of fine Irish whiskey was dramatically down, so I suspect my 18 yr old daughter has been at it, no doubt ruining it by adding some sort of horrible mix to it. Luckily more is available at the local government controlled liquor store, priced actually about the same as the duty free shop at Heathrow.
