Feels great to win the FA cup. The players showed how much it meant to them and the respect they have for Arsene Wenger at the end of that final. They've all had to put up with a lot of stick over the last few years, most of it from our own fans too, some of it deserved, but we came through and proved that we have what it takes to win silverware. I can't describe how happy I am for these players and our manager. It feels so ****ing good to win a trophy again
My nerves are dead. I've gone through all the emotions today at least 3 times but I love this team so ****ing much. Great to get this duck off of our backs. Now let's push on from this win.
It's been a long time since we've had that feeling. When the final whistle went, it was ****ing amazing
Ramsey flying the flag for Wales today ****ing belter of a finish to win it too. All hail Lord Ramsey
Couldn't give a **** about other fans saying well done. Media and our ****ty fans will find something to have a go about. Don't care. Fa cup winners. The (joint) mist successful fa cup team ever.
Here here! f**king Awesome day! The way we battled in this game made me so f**king proud to be a Gooner. Credit to Wenger for Inspired subs. 2nd half we were literally all guns blazing. Lastly, we the fans deserve this big time. It's been a tough time since we have moved to The Emirates and hopefully this trophy will be the first of many. The team finally found out what it takes to be winners and I'm estatic for Wenger after he was taunted about being a failure by that **** over at Roman FC Maureen isn't worthy of wiping Wengers ass. Enjoy your weekend ladies and Gents!
Bringing on Sanogo at the time I was iffy about, I thought it would've been better for Rosicky to come on, but in ET, his subs basically won us the game, Rosicky-Wilshere brought that UMPH we needed.
I like Sanogo, but he reminds me of a new born Foal, all bandy legs and no coordination. I think he's got some raw talent, but he's definitely a diamond in the rough at the moment.
He needs to just let rip when he gets the ball, he's always looking to play the ball to someone else when he's in a good position to make something for himself.
I guess that's the way he's being told to play in training, find a team mate unless you can score ... But to be honest his shooting ain't that good either at the moment. I like him though, I think he's got tons of potential and he reminds me a bit of Kanu
I thought it was "monkey." Still you can be forgiven for this slip. Well done and hope you push on for greater things next season!!
It was a true Arsenal style emotional roller coaster today and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Great stuff!
Looking back on it now, I enjoyed watching Sanogo - he caused Hull a lot of problems mainly because he seemed to be making it up as he went along! I think he'll come good once he has scored and does potentially offer us an alternative approach up front. He's not the striker we have been pleading for in the last two windows but there is potential for sure. I also agree that Wenger's other two substitutions were spot on -at least if things had not worked out as they did we would have been spared from the 'pleasure' of watching another Ozil penalty! As the OP says, this was a great day for Wenger and he deserved today, whatever else happens from here.
