Yeh the ref was desperate not to have to make any kind of decision. 4 penalties at least that weren't given, a couple of really obvious ones.

 

Well done good win, lucky Arsenal are back.

 

I think the slide tackle on Carzorla when he clearly kept possession was the only "obvious" one. The handball was a penalty as well, but it happened so quickly in such a muddle of bodies I don't blame the ref for missing it, or at least not being certain about it.

I do wonder though, if he would have given them against us.

 

Shame, because it makes it look like we had to work for it, whereas if we'd got the decision, we would have crushed them.

 

Wow what a great game! You guys deserved it in the end. Nervous start but got over the line in the end! Well done Arsenal!

Is there any chance Wenger retires instead of signing a new deal? Today would be the perfect chance, he can ride off into the sunset on a good note. I'll even provide the horse.

 

As mentioned if we'd been given half of the stonewall penalties in that game, we'd have crushed them.

Anyway, thanks for the congrats at least you can have some pride in being associated with North London, even if your team do their best to try and make it a footballing dearth.

And rightly so. He's just won a major trophy, this is what we've all been calling for.

 

My view will stay the same unless we do smart business in the window, but for today, i'm happy for the guy, he looked genuinely chuffed to bits to have won.
