Thats a valid point but is that the scenario fully explained. They had a game in hand it was early in the season and plenty of games against Rangers yet to play. Its not like down here.
All true. I admit its not necessarily the best example but that's pretty much the only time he's faced adversity in his time at Celtic and he was able to come through it. Having said all that, I would still prefer Malky of the two because he has proven himself competent at that level in the past. That's not to say Lennon isn't capable though.
Never talk politics or religion with friends it's the easiest way to lose them. Therefore back on topic, still all quiet on the Eastern front eh ? I think it's going to be Malky and I'm not convinced by that. If he hadn't once played for us would he be a serious contender ? Would so many want him here ?
I think it's too sentimental to bring in Malky. We need a clinical ****er who is not afraid of putting his stamp on things. Not someone who is recognised as a good fit because of previous history. I'd like the board to be brave, and in light of their previous mistakes (widely admitted) do they want to do another Gunn?
Don't know if it can be believed, but I've heard from someone with his ear to the ncfc ground that Zola is higher up in the list of potentials than you might have thought. Would surprise me, as out of the names on offer, his was initially the one I couldn't see... Wait and see I suppose...although putting my tenner on Zola.
Malky is on radio duties, maybe announcement has been held back so he could carry out that without being bombarded with questions regarding the job...
I don't think Malky is being considered for any other reason than his managerial nous. The board don't work like that any more. Looks like Malky or Lennon to me.
