as islam becomes more and more widespread (and due to birth rates will become the dominant religion in the UK in the next 50 or so years), things like this will continue to happen as they impose their beliefs. religious beliefs should never be imposed like this, polygamy has no place in the UK.

I love Pat Condell. He despises islam almost as much as I do. I had a black muslim girl friend,who I wanted to marry. She was of a similar mind. Cutting a long story short,her brother told me that he would cut her throat if she married me. She didn't,so he didn't have to. Nice people,muslims. So full of bitterness and hatred.

I have a Bosnian Muslim son-in-law, thank fk he is a non practicing one otherwise my granddaughter would be considered a Muslim under Shariah Law and have to marry a Muslim
I have some Muslim friends who fled Bosnia and they are so far removed from the extremist faction. Many lost faith in Izabgovic (sic) when he allowed the jihadist into Bosnia to help them. To an individual they did not want a muslim state, given the former Yugslav model, but my have been too far removed from more extreme views. Most muslims I have met in UK do believe in a muslim state and work towards it. You sit with any muslim and ask the right questions and they will confirm that view. Being against a muslim state is not racist, they want a state built on religion, as an atheist I am against anyones religion being thrust upon someone. If you think I am bad and evil as any muslim the punishement for apostasy. It is death.

Well, if Christians really are concerned they should actually practice their faith. The 15% who attend church are really being let down by the rest. Instead, the vast majority of self confessed UK Christians shun the scriptures. In effect anyone who is a Christian should live by the laws of Moses which are the same as Jews and Moslems. Anyone on here ever used the expression, "Jesus Christ" used as a exclamation? Blasphemy. Anyone allow their women to go outdoors with their hair uncovered? The most obvious abrogation is the command Jesus gave to 'love your enemy as you would love yourself'. The fact is anyone can quote parts of the scriptures to support their argument. The UK is a Christian country, its laws are ratified by the Lords which has a legal requirement to a set number of Anglican Clergy, the head of state (the Queen) is so as chosen by and representing the Anglican god. If you want the status quo to be retained get out and practice your faith rather than just whine about others. My position - there is no god so the only satisfactory situation is a secular state. And as long as religious hate and racist threads appear on this site I will reply. You are hypocritical in contributing to a debate of which you disapprove. So stop. Nobody is forcing to take notice or post here. Avoid the thread, it's not hard. Furthermore, nobody is advocating racism here. I don't respect Christianity (more of which below) and I actively despise Islam but that doesn't make me hate or despise Muslims (some of which are actually friends of mine who are adult enough to debate the issue). I feel sorry for them. Islam: A religion that encourages or at least turns a blind eye to marriages of pre-pubescent schoolgirls. Why? Because the prophet himself was married to an 8 year old ; Where the punishment for apostacy or homosexuality is death. Why remove any thread other than football ,this forum is an opportunity for members to discuss other issues than football, as you would in any social environment i.e. a pub etc ..Your beliefs are yours but possibly not shared by all but what you want is to impose your will on others as certain Muslim other faiths & non faiths would .

I've simply posted my views as it's someting that I've had an interest in over the years. Lots of books, lots of articles, lots of reasearch so that I could come to my own conclusions. He is now doing a Tony Blair and becoming all religious. So read into that what you will. All religions pray on people and the ones that brainwash their children from birth are the worst.
