Couldn't agree more mate, Electro is ****ing awful. I'd rather get fingered of a giant than play Electro, it is NOT house.
Haha each to their own, I am bored of house music at the moment, its all far too polite for my tastes. I am loving Electro.
Electro is basic music by numbers, it has no creativity or originality at all, IMO, of course. House, well you just need to know where to look mate, there is an incredible amount of quality to be had with techno/tech house, and you can mix that in with the deep stuff that's big at the minute for a lift and a bi of a variation. There is some superb soulful, vocal stuff coming along soon for summer, I think that's where house will be headed by October, back to the beginning in effect.

Some good points mate, I will look out for some of the new melodic vocal stuff as that's more my taste. We have had several house DJ's who have also performed at The Boiler Rooms on at the club recently, to be honest I have been bored by all of them. I guess it depends on your tastes. We have got Mark Knight on next weekend, but I am away so will miss it, I was keen to see what he is like. Will have to get you down to do a set sometime mate.
Would be good mate, and maybe you do the same (no ****ing Electro at my nights tho ) I'll send you some promo stuff over mate, this month I reckon there's been 30-40 sent that could be huge over summer. Problem at the minute is it's all 'deep house', and only a select few mix it up, I agree it goes flat if that's all you play. For the record, what they are calling 'deep house' is not even close to actual deep house, it's formulaic, generic, rob a 90's b-line and loop it slowed down bollocks. You need to look at people like Guti to see what deep house should sound like, and that stuff is fantastic.
Cool send it over dude, we have some quite big plans for next year with more names, if there are any warm up slots I will let ya know. I mainly play electro so will give playing at your place a miss I would like to come to one of your events sometime though to check it out.
Yeah man, will get something arranged. We've got a biggie with Pirupa & NiCe7 headlining announcing soon (event itself not for a wee while yet...), the venue we are using for that has just had a full Void system fitted so that is going to be the absolute bollocks. We are looking at doing room 2 at Fabric over summer so that might be a good one for you if we get it all tied down.
Sounds very cool, I would be up for that if you get it sorted. Wise Men where do you play I will have to come check you out too. I am looking at getting a video wall later in the year. We have just had a CO2 system installed and lots of new LED beams put in. Video is the only thing were missing now
