Don't Know if this has been done before so feel free to merge /delete if it has been mods...
Personally i'de say williamson as he works so hard for the team and gets so little credit next to colo yet i think he's been the reason we havnt done any worse then we did on this awful season.
I'de also say there should be an honorable mention to mehdi Abeid who has been in great form for panithaniakos winning a few "mvp" awards in the league, so hopefully he comes back and performs for us!

The best performer in a black and white shirt this season left in January unfortunately, Yohan was in the form of his life in the first half of the season.

So evenly balanced, picking from so many under performing prima donnas.
I've gone for Cabaye for his half a season, but, after him, its like clutching at thin air.

Ryan Taylor - Showed more guts in coming back from injury than the rest of them showed on the pitch

Cabaye would have been ahead for me but cant give player of the season to someone who left half way through so my choice is Tiote with a close second to Williamson.

Tiote. He rediscovered consistency and cleaned up his act.
Plus he'll hurt me if I don't vote for him.

I have plumped for Mike Williamson.

He is playing out of his skin to stay at Premier League level, so fair play to him.

Sure, Remy & Cabaye were streets ahead in terms of natural ability and quality, but they are no longer Newcastle United players, so bollocks to them :)

very true shame we dont keep anyone with natural talent! I think we need more players like him who will put their body on the line for the club and the fans...but hopefully with the talent of remy or cabs

Dummett, purely because, as a british youth, hes been my fave player to watch this season, really its cabaye but in the ending weeks of despair and hatred of the performance of various players, i have been able to accept dummetts misgivings because he looks like a he gives a ****

Debuchy for me. I think Cabaye would have won this comfortably had he stayed. Willo has played to his max and Tiote was very good for 3/4 of the season. Remy has obviously been good.

Loving the comedy selections of HBA, Shola and Dummett.

I'll give you that but to me dummet is championship level at a push he's slow, cant cross and isnt a great defender imo....personally i'de play hiadara there next season

Aw definitely, i'd happily see santon shipped out and dummett goes back-up for Haidara, who was one of the promising aspects of the Liverpool game. Mind its more likely Debuchy going and, as much as i like him, we might fair ok without penalty-causer extraordinaire

To be fair I don't think he has been responsible for any of our pens this season in competitive games has he? I'm sure there has only be 4 or 5. Couple from Mbiwa (always the most likely candidate), Anita, Krul. Maybe one other I'm forgetting?

Debuchy has joined Tiote in the questionable discipline camp though.

Debuchy. Statistically the best performing right back in Europe - says even more when your consider the performance levels of most of the rest of his teammates and his manager. Ignoring statistics for those who hate them, he has looked decent defensively, effective going forward and has worked his boots off for 90 minutes over most of his performances this season. His improvement from the player he was in his first six months is crazy.

I read somewhere earlier that Roma were considering offering £10million for Santon. If only journalists were an honest bunch.
