So that is tomorrows fish n chip wrapper, which means that he will sign for us when he has heard what we wil pay him etc.
I still feel he will sign, and it is so obvious that he has to show his alligance to Rovers whilst still on their books.

If the guy is happy to be in a relegation dogfight then he has no ambition and we are best off leaving well alone!!!

Although I'd be happy if we did sign him, I'm not overly concerned if we dont. Quite rightly PJ is playing hard ball and I imagine exploring every avenue before making any rash decisions. At 30 he isn't a long term option hence our low valuation of him. I fancy we'll get someone else instead.

Presume you can't remember the last creative player we had outwide, Darren Currie ?

He came to us with no pace and therefore had none to lose. To be fair though he was a touch of class is some matches but Brighton by all accounts needed the £250k we paid for him to stay afloat.

"happy to stay" is different from wants to stay, suggests to me he's still open for a move.

but i dont think it'll be a big blow if we dont get him, Civelli from the very little i saw of him looks like he has the potential to be a creative wide man, and is younger so can develop with the team

Not overly bothered about this, don't think Coppinger is anything too magnificent. One of those where I'd be happy to get him, but I'm not gonna pray for it.

Ford Sierra, Sierra as my old mum used to say. Let's wait and see what happens............

I really do suffer during these non-footy months....... can't wait until life begins again.... when Saturday's mean something

I think loyalty should be applauded in this day and age(even if it means we have to look elsewhere).
