I was under that very sign last year for my big five o birthday bash....LV has to be the weirdest place on earth!
Don't get me wrong...everyone should experience it at least once. Free drinks all night,24/7 party land, a beach with waves and salt water in the desert, and the chance to waste all your hard earned!
I don't drink, or gamble, but LA is one of my highlights of the 32 states out of 50 I've visited. Just an over-elaborate, debauched playground for adults. So much to do and see, eat and partake in. I have been going every year since 2010! Never gets boring! I recommend the Mirage, been staying there since 2011 and its the perfect location!
I take it you mean LV? Totally agree tho, I have been 3 times since 2009, just find the whole place awesome and always feel that it leaves you wanting more!! As Caldicot said...... everyone should experience it at least once!!
I've done the poor mans version on the East Coast, Atlantic City on several occasions whilst working in the area. A cross between Blackpool and W-S-M with loads of prostitutes and drugs. An interesting place to sit and people watch.....
Atlantic City eh ! I'm a big apple man myself. New Yorkers have a charisma of their own, much like Londoners or Berliners. I found LA to be a bit plastic to be frank
I've only ever been to Florida, to this day the best place I've ever been. I did so much there, literally is impossible to day everything you want in 2 weeks and im itching to go back. The 4 memories that stick out in my mind about Florida was, the first was when we were going to Universal my mum (who before we went was talking to a friend who had just come back and told her this story) told me that on the way a massive twister destroyed a few streets that we had to drive down. As I was sitting in the car waiting to see what had happened my mum went, oh dear look at that, it was a building completely upside down! I believed her lie and couldn't believe it. She started laughing then I eventually caught on that it was suppose to look like that (I was 12 at the time). Another was firing a real gun... I didn't care much for it as you might know if you have used one in real life it lets off a horrible bit of smoke that smells horrible! all it did was make me cough and I gave up after my first clip! My 3rd memory, whilst not a great one, when I was in KFC an American woman was talking to me and asking what I was going to get, I said a chicken wrap, she then told me that in America it is illegal to show a picture of food in KFC/McDonalds etc on those boards at the top, if the food you are paying for is not exactly the same size! Weird country, someone must of had to have sued one of these restaurants and now they all have to have this rule. Can remember standing there after sizing my chicken wrap too the picture! P.S This is the building that was upside down please log in to view this image
Been to Florida, and been to New York to get married up the Empire State Building. I loved New York, loved the fact that you walk around and think I've seen that on TV it's like everywhere you go in Manhattan you recognise it. Looking to go to Vegas for my 50th 4-5 days there then Mexico for 11 days. I want to go to Nashville and Memphis before I sign off this life as well.
