There was some Arsenal gaylords in town today. Hull! 3 of them near Ask trying to walk like they were hard, in those round shaped shades that indie bands used to wear in the 90s, and later Ozzy Osbourne in the Naughties. Bellends basically. I had my Heron bag with me and I would not be moved. So they moved. Bellends.
full English, train from Wakefield at 11.18, arrive Kings Cross 1.30, beer and lunch somewhere around Kings cross (whats the name of the football club from round those parts!!!), metropolitan line to Wembley Park, Premier Inn at Wembley Park 2.30 ish, Wembley way 4 ish, ............ whatever happens next......... train from Kings cross to Wakefield at 10 pm.
10:44 train to Kings Cross 13:09 arrive... go to underground 13:30 Leicester Square - Head to TGIs One slap up meal and two large long island teas later.... 15:00 get tube to wembley way 16:00 enter stadium, take seat 19:00 go for a piss before penalty shoot-out 19:30 watch city lift cup 20:00 leave stadium in panic 21:00 still waiting on platform to get kings cross train 21:35 arrive at kings cross - but miss last train 22:00 ring wife to come and get me 22:30 hit soho with thudd and livermore while waiting for wife etc
7:25 land in Manchester. Pick up luggage get train to Manchester Piccadilly. Meet wife's friend with ticket circa 8:30/9:00 am. 9:00 ish chill out at Manchester Piccadilly. Maybe beer. 10 something get train to London, may be beer. 12 something arrive London Euston, get to hotel, shower, change. Maybe beer. 1/2pm leave for WEMBERLEEEEEEEEEE! After that play it by easiest access to beer!
7:30am get up 8:30am get bus into town because the tube is not working here. 10am get cheap day ticket for the theatre (hopefully matinee performance) 10:30am wander around Chinatown and get some lunch (hopefully see some city faithful) 2:30pm watch play 5pm leave theatre and stagger into nearby pub (probably montague Pyke near Tottenham court road) 7pm hopefully celebrate drunkenly with some of you guys in Central London (alternatively slump off home)
