Yeah he really does my nut and i'm not even sure why. Didn't like Mascherano either. There's 2 at West ham i can't abide - carroll and Nolan.
The worst is when a playwer you hate joins your club. We had it years back at Watford - played Luton in a cup match and all hell let loose as it always did back then. Matthew spring scored a scorcher for them and we lost 2-1. Little scrote then came to us a few years later and played a key part in our promotion to the premier league. He neevr was quite forgiven though
Very strange thread - I take it the people that you've all mentioned you know in real life? If not then this is quite possibly the most ridiculous thread ever.
I was never keen on Jermaine Pennant. Him joining us did nothing to make me like him more. About the same time we signed Craig Bellamy- but- unlike Pennant, the more I learnt about him the more I grew to respect- and then like him. I really admire Bellamy now- his "bad-boy" actions make the papers- but he is very big into various charities and does a lot of good work... appears to be a real hard-working and "good guy" after all.
[h=1]Michael Owen: Winning the FA Cup with Liverpool remains the highlight of my career[/h] http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...rpool-remains-the-highlight-of-my-career.html
Probably was because he scored the goals that day, he barely contributed to any of the trophies he won with us. He was just a sub for us, so understandable that his Liverpool successes mean more to him as he was the main man
He was your talisman for most of his time with you, and was definitely your most high profile player when he was sold to Madrid. Gerrard hadn't quite reached his peak when Owen was sold. Not sure why you scousers hate the guy so much, he did what was best for his career when he came to us, surely you can understand that. None of us Mancs hate the likes of Schmeichel or Law for going to City, as it was what was best for there careers, as there time with us was over
God was the main man not Mikey the traitor, lil Mikey was never a red and sold us down the river to get his move to Real.
El hadji diouf. ****ing loathsome. Ashley Young. I'm not a violent person, but every time I see him I want to put his face through the back of his skull.
Averaged more than a goal every 2 games for you, and played for you for 8 years. I think he gave a fair bit of his career to you lot, so can't understand why you'd have a problem with him. So what? He wanted a move to Madrid, can you blame him? Ronaldo left us for Madrid, but he still got a hero's reception when he returned, maybe you guys should start showing more respect to guys like Owen, a player who was brilliant for you, one of your best ever strikers, without a doubt
