Telegraph report that Saints held a board meeting yesterday to discuss how to handle approaches for players and manager. Quelle surprise...SFC has a board meeting after the end of the season to discuss things that affect the club.

Number 3 on agenda was: Do we say b****r off or f*** off.

Fair enough - it's be great to see him back to his former glory in a red & white shirt, so I like the loan idea.
£20 mil is a lot of money though.

I was hoping this wouldn't turn up on here, inevitably though it did!

No, in all seriousness I like to think it was balanced and fair. I don't want Pochettino going anywhere but it was a decent opportunity to write!

I'm also pleased to note their fans aren't slagging him off in the comments... ;)

Solved our problem...we get David Salas to phone up Spurs and say they should stop bothering him as he isn't interested. He is the voice of Pochettino after all.

No, it was very well done.

I can't believe the amount of Spurs fans on Twitter and the like who are really upset about the prospect of MP......"we need a proven winner" etc. They really do have some delusions of grandeur and a highly naive view of just how good MP is/can be.

The board should let them have it their way and approach Allegri.

It was balanced and fair Sir, a good read albeit slightly depressing!
They seem to like to discuss players hairstyles, I wonder what they would have to say should they sign Dominic Oduro of DC United!!

There's mumblings that because to free up Poch and his staff it would cost around £4m, that Levy has scuttled back to De Boer.

    Fingers crossed......

Ridiculous. Pochettino is worth far more than any player of £4m.

Not when you consider they'll have to sack him in 6 months.

He's done a great job at Saints but the expectations and aims of your club atm compared to Spurs are lower. We are all well aware we can't attract Guardiola, Mourinho etc but a lot of Spurs fans think we need someone who has been there and done it all before rather than another roll of the dice by Levy.

But our expectations and aims in comparison to Spurs don't at all impact his capability as a manager. People seem to think Levy is moving for MP because it's the "cheap and easy" option. Really, if you study what he does, Levy's going for him because he's the perfect fit for your club and the system you want to play. But people just seem hung up that he hasn't won anything. Nor has Brendan Rogers, and he seems to have done okay. AVB won a bagful at Porto and he turned out less so......
