Whatever, point is Southampton still wasn't our biggest post-Premiership gate. Although I did think the attendance was lower than just under 20k for the derby. We certainly would have beaten that had the capacity of Fratton Park not been reduced for the Oxford game.

Also, during my searches I noticed "Doing a Leeds" has a wikipedia article, that's quite amusing.

Main building due to open when the players return for pre-season. New training dome and a couple of additional pitches to take longer.

Katharina Liebherr also signed off plans last month which means the training ground pitches will have undersoil heating.

Just missing the Alps in the background with this log cabin style building, but for £30m I expect a Mini Mount Blanc to replace Marchwood

My all-time favourite Grand Design programme was made just up the road in the Sussex woodland, where a chap lived 12 years, gaining the allowance to build a house in the woods. And what a beauty he built. So good in fact that I recorded the episode and stuck it on a disc. I consider myself resourceful, but that guy has my absolute admiration.

One of my favourites too. I particularly liked the lime plaster technique. Stops the straw rotting you know...

Yep, and those straw walls and measurements by straw bale. Superb.

I thought about that programme, and wondered whether it was on Youtube. Not only was it on Youtube, but it had been updated in 2008. I'd seen the original programme of 2002, and then the update of 2005 when he had met someone and they had had a first child. The latest update was of a huge growth in the guy's [Ben Law] fortunes [obviously influenced by the CH4 programmes], and he and his family were thriving better than I could have imagined, but still with his principles totally intact. Someone I know who has slight contacts with saints , has said since NC left , the delays to the upgrade have suddenly stopped, and the building work has really speeded up .

Not necessarily, think the costs were building as changes were made. I believe this is one thing Katharina wanted sorted...she signed off on things soon after she arrived (after all she had the money, not Nicola). I think Kreuger mentioned it as well...said it had dragged on too long.

After we've sold all our players this summer, not sure we'll need so many seats in the media press conference room.
